I had Professor Rosa for Italian American Literature and Editing & Publishing. I cannot say enough good things about him. Passionate about his ethnicity (Italian, obvi) and made learning fun and interesting.

Comment:

The best professor I ever had. Al Rosa had a profound impact not only on my education, but on my life. Incredibly intelligent, friendly, and helpful, he encouraged me on a paper which led to a Dept. of English Award. Later he was responsible for getting me a job at the Village Voice in NYC. It is a true loss for UVM that he has retired.
