Dr. Kissler is a very friendly professor. She is one of these professors in fact that is grandmotherly. In all seriousness though, she is very good at teaching and very easy going. Fun class. Don't have to do homework or anything. Just write a few essays and take a midterm/final. Easy as cake. :)

She takes attendance, like you're still in high school. Probably because her class is honestly beyond boring. In all seriousness though, it's really easy. I got A's on every test/paper. However, with the class being as easy & boring, I made the mistake of missing a few & ended up with a D. Nice lady, but treats her students like infants.

Dr. Kissler is the finest educator that I have ever had. She teaches with much enthusiasm and this tends to rub off. Her English Lit class is like no other, she knows her stuff and WCCC is VERY lucky to have her. She could teach at Harvard or Yale with ease, yet she is very funny and very down to Earth. Take Doc you absolutely will not regret it!

TAKE DR. KISSLER'S CLASS!! She is crystal clear, very forgiving and generous, and darn funny. She literally took note while she was in college as to what makes a good or bad professor, and follows them to a T. It was actually a JOY going to her class. Imagine that. Additionally, her tests are ABSURDLY EASY. 2 brain cells = A+ for her ColWrit tests.

I have taken every one of Linda's Lit classes and I love her. She has become a good friend and mentor. I can always count on her if I have questions or just need to talk to someone. She's a brilliant woman, smart, funny, and one of the nicest (if not the) people you will ever meet. A true TEACHER in every sense of the word!

SHAKESPEARE - Dr.Kissler is by far the best English Prof at WCCC, and perhaps in the whole school. I had her for college writing before, but you can really tell this class is where her real passion is. You write two short papers, no homework, the real learning is in the class. Books for the class where $18 TOTAL, 3 paperbacks, one for each play.

Dr. Kissler is a great professor. She is very into what she teaches. You have to write 5 papers, but she very clearly explains each paper before it is assigned. I wish I could take her for adv comp , but she doesn't teach it. I have learned so much about writing papers in this class. I plan on taking her Shakespeare class sometime in the future.

I had Dr. Kissler last quarter Fall '05 for College Writing and I had so much fun! She is a virtual fountain of knowledge! One of those few teachers who inspire you! She always tells her students she loves her job and you can tell! She's a great teacher and a great person! I am planning on taking all her English/Lit courses while I'm at 3C's!

She's so cool. She really loves her job, and makes learning fun - which is what every teacher should possess. Never thought I could easily understand Beowulf or Canterbury Tales. If you need to take any English or Literature class, I highly reccommend Dr. Kissler!
