Dr Artzt is the BEST! I love her and is the beginning of a math teaching journey. Which means you must read a lot and participate in class. She counts participation a lot since it means you CARE and WANT to become a math teacher.

Dr. Artzt is one of the best people in the world. She absolutely loves and cares about her students, as if they were her own children. The class itself is somewhat difficult and you need to do the work and give it a lot of effort to pass, but taking a class with her is worth it.

Definitely need textbook! Alice is kind and wants students to succeed. She cares a lot about students. Tests are not hard, you're able to bring a reference index card for each exam to help you on definitions etc. Participation is a must! You will fail without participating. Overall, the class is easy. Don't forget the common assessment! Easy, too.

I tried so damn hard in this class and got by with B's. She gives boat loads of busy work that don't help you at all. She doesn't teach; she just assigns readings with long homeworks. The observation reports need to be long to get an A. She's a good person overall, but honestly, is a crappy teacher. do the work, you'll pass. midterm and final paper

Dr. Artzt is the best person and professor ever. You will not find anyone like her anywhere else. If you have the opportunity to take a class with her, you are incredibly lucky. You definitely need to be prepared to work. You will learn how to be a fabulous teacher. She is amazing.

Sweetest woman ever! She's very inspiring when teaching and makes you want to be involved. She assigns homework's which are long and time consuming, but it's only to help you and she goes over each homework carefully so you have a full understanding. Definitly advise this class, don't be fooled by the negative ratings. If you do workyou'll do fine.

To all the people who are taking this course, be prepared to do a lot of work after the midterm. Although the work load was a lot for ppl who just entered college, the work load is NOT hard. The key is to not slack off. Do that and you'll be fine.
