Comment:

Never expected this when I signed up for the class. Huge workload, very unclear on any assignments due or what the material was. Quizzes were incredibly difficult, I can B.S. a grade usually but this class was impossible to use that in, she would write "Use text examples" and give me a point. Simulation at end borders on psychological manipulation.

Comment:

Terrible teacher, I learned next to nothing except that being progressive is the only acceptable stance. If you just take notes on the headlines of the readings and BS through the quizzes, you stack up nearly 90 bonus points. The community service is mandatory and worth a lot, there's a final paper that's a joke, and a presentation at the end.

Nonprofit Management was a lot of work but I learned a lot throughout the class. As long as you do all of the assignments and come to class you will get an A. She is a very compassionate professor and wants you to learn the information. She really teaches for you instead of at you like some professors. Easy but lots of labor in the process.

I tried doing Carebreak with her, she is the rudest and most difficult person I've ever delt with. If you can think for yourself and you won't follow like a mindless sheep... then have nothing to do with her. Why is she even teaching, she only has a Masters, and it isn't even in Political Science

In her American National Government class she made us do community service, we took a quiz every week on a 30 page long chapter, we had to write at least 4 papers, my class started out with about 40 kids and by the end of the semester we only had 26 because everyone had F's no matter how hard they worked, shes a very nice lady on a personal level b

SHE GIVES A QUIZ EVERY WEEK ON THE CHAPTERS THAT YOU HAD TO READ FOR HOMEWORK AND THEY ARE EXTREMELY HARD. I ALWAYS READ THE CHAPTERS BUT I HAVE NO IDEA WHERE SHE GOT HER QUESTIONS FROM. THE ONLY WAY I AM PASSING IS THAT THERE ARE ALOT OF WAYS YOU CAN EARN POINTS OTHER THAN QUIZES. SHE ALSO REQUIRES YOU TO DO 10 HOURS OF COMMUNITY SERVICE.

Alice is an amazing person. You can learn so much from her. I was an AmeriCorps member this year and loved it. It's an amazing experience for anyone to take part in. The only problem Alice has is that she can talk on forever, very interesting but tells a little too much detail. She is awsome!
