Comment:
The most disorganized professor at McGill, this man will dance around any questions you may have or go on a random tangent. Beware of the quizzes! Not only does he make you memorize tiny details from the element presentations, he sometimes includes "random fact" questions of stuff you've never seen before just to mess with you. Course isn't hard.

I think it was one of my favourite courses, and it was good to get out of the pure chemistry bubble. ENthusiastic professor. Interesting material. Overall pretty good. Barely used the textbook, unfortunately.

Sure, Gen Chem was fine but AVOID at all cost for any upper year courses!!! Lectures are extremely scattered and at many times unclear. Gives example after example wo explaining any concepts. Exams WAY harderdifferent than assigned textbook problems and nothing like the "sample exams". I really enjoyed CHEM 281 so this was a HUGE shock.

Very funny and energetic guy. He really makes lectures entertaining and fun. He's very joyful and is very smart (ask him a chemistry question before/after class!). If you sit in the front row he'll come right up to you and pretty much give you a 1on1 lecture. Great prof!

He is good for lower level classes do not take him for grad classes. He is all over the place lost in his material, his slides are not his own, midterm and final have nothing to do with course content our final was 3 read 3 papers, terrible teaching for grad class, no flow to the material and all over the place. Do not take him for grad classes

Great professor after having to deal with Sanctuary. Bohle follows the textbook spot on so do your reading before classes and it will make classes more interesting and clear. The midterm was fair. Bohle is a really good guy, awkward but hilarious in his own way.

The stereotypical crazy chem prof, Bohle is definitely a lot of fun. He brought a blow torch to class most days. As it was his first time teaching this course, his section was a little unclear, but I´d still give him two thumbs up.

I've only had one lecture with him, but he strikes me as a pretty good prof, and a pretty funny guy. Very enthusiastic about the subject, and has the air of a stereotypical "absent-minded professor".

Great teaching style. Funny guy. I wish he had a bigger chunk of organic structural spectroscopy to teach.
