I found her a little overly-critical. The material seems irrelevant to anything at all, and she has a fairly disorganized thinking pattern, so she is hard to follow at times. All that aside, she is a very nice lady, and she always seemed willing to help students; she really wants you to learn.

Dr K is very knowledgeable, but does not know how to relate this to students. She is oblivious to the outside world and the educational process, and cant give a lecture worth the green beans that half the class is devoted to. For your sake,avoid her like the plague,especially if you want to escape with your mind intact.

Very knowledgeable about the subject matter but never intimidating--always listens and considers what students say as well as what's in the book. Incredibly understanding, willing to work with students on projects. I loved the textbook and got so much out of this class--would recommend it to anyone considering an ANTH course.

She is way to old to still be teaching, loses papers and exams. She does give a study guide and 50% of the exam is a take home essay. I would take another teacher and you will get a lot more out of this class.

This woman is REDICULOUS. Never sticks to a single topic longer than a second; half the stuff I'm pretty sure she doesn't even know what she's talking about. Highly unorganized and concerned only with making herself look smart. You can never make this woman happy no matter what you say or do! Avoid like the plague.

I have no idea how to follow this woman when she starts lecturing. She'll say something and then immediately start talking about something completely irrelevant to what she started out with. Her tests are hard, there is alot of info to know. She doesn't talk to the class, but to the ceiling and air above students heads.

Not really the best teacher I ever had although she is fairly nice. Way too concerned with being a major feminist, nothing against that but sometimes you need to look at the other sides of certain issues as well. Recommend the class (honors intro anthropology) but not the prof. Tests sometimes cover a little too much info.

OMG this teacher is so scatterbrained. It takes her the entire class period just to start on her lecture. But she was funny to laugh at during class. Quote from Dr K."Wow, seems like most of you are college students." She loves to talk about sex in this class and her experiences. If she calls on you and you answer she will cut you off.

She told my class that she had been teaching this particular course for 30 years. She most certainly didn't act like it. She was absentminded,confussing,unable to use any equipment in the classroom,graded harshly,exams were too long,snapped at students,I learned little...DON'T TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!!!

Dr. K's class is not very interesting and outright boring. As other students have said, tell her what makes her happy, even it isn't right. While her tests are easy, they are very demanding and require lots of writing in a short amount of time. Not an easy A. Also, she is a feminist.

Awful teacher, insane grading policies. She had to pass out a sheet explaining how she graded a test, because no one could figure it out. Tests too long--one big essay (5-7 paragraphs), 4-5 "short" answer that she wanted a page for each, 10 ID
