easy A if you do the work. I didnt do any take home tests, but a lot of tie ins and extra credits (like concerts at soulful cup) and still managed an A. only 600 points for A, and if you build and sleep in an igloo, you get 200! class is interesting too. lots of discussions and interesting things. Highly recommend this proffesor!

When you first see him, he'll remind you of Hitler. You have 1,000 possible points throughout the semester to earn, whether through quizzes, take-home tests or tie-ins. The final is 300 of these points. The class IS easy, but you will suffer anxiety if you don't do the work. Plus, if you stay awake in class, he tends to like you a bit more.

I was always very interested in this class, but I didnt like the tie ins. Grades are done on a point basis, so you can get a good grade just by handing in a lot of tie ins. But i thought they were hard. He is very informative, and class disscussion was good. I learned a lot in the class.

Hes an excellent teacher who actually has some pretty cool stories about Costa Rica and what not. And his class is easy! no assigned homework, unlimited extra credit, and friday quizzes that you can use your notes and a partner for!
