Average teacher. She is easy going and the class is not difficult. The assignments and readings are normal for this level course. Her lectures are dreadful. They are extremely hard to follow.

Pro - not a hard grader, though not necessarily an easy A. Attendance not mandatory. Cons - extremely boring. Consistently rambles and does not present major ideas related to the subject effectively. Uses very pretentious vocabulary that is irritating to listen to. Final Note - You will most likely not learn anything from this class.

Most boring class I've ever had. Unless you're SERIOUSLY interested in the topic, you will be bored to tears. Tries to have discussions but no one participates because no one does the insane amount of readiing she assigns. Actual workload isn't too bad other than a ton of reading, but if you want to stay awake, do NOT take her, you'll regret it.

absolutely impossible to stay awake in class, it is awful. I seriously just could not pay attention bc it was just sooooo boring!! If u have to take her class, just show up for the reviews bc then u will have a pretty good idea of what to know for the exams. don't waste your time going to this class

This class is so boring. She jumps around like crazy & she barely teaches anything that has to do with actual amer history. She says to read the book but it wont help you b/c she only tests you on the ridiculous things you learn in class. She will never test you on anything important, ie presidents or wars, she will test on the Case of Scott Tissue

Had her for American History II. Horrendously boring. She killed one of my favorite subjects for me and I don't like her for it. Once again, REALLY boring. Sit in class, listen to her boring powerpoints, and watch her feminist views on anything. Barely talks about Vietnam, WWI and II...so sad. But not hard really if you just pay a little attention.

Really, really nice feminist lady. Cities in American History was not the most exciting class, but it definitely was easy. I went to her office hours a few times (she had 3 days with hours a week), did well on the two papers which she tells you where to look for information, probably bombed the final but still wound up with a B for the class.

Fairly easy class and suprisingly learned a lot. Some of the lectures were a bit dry, but overall I enjoyed the class. It definitely helps to be previously interested in the material, however if your like me you grow to respect the topics. Straightfoward final, as it was eactly like the study guide.

Class looked at the history/development of cities by way of social issues, urban planning and architecture. ton of reading, but most of it is very readable. She likes class to be a discussion vs. a lecture, and is very accessible/helpful when you need her outside of class. Def take it if youre interested in topic.

i ended up doing fairly well in the class but the professor was sooo boring. she jumped from subject to subject without warning and it was very hard to take notes. she outlined her notes before class which didnt help at all. the exams were essay and the paper was not bad.

This professor blows. She's a nice lady and class is easy but if u like history it sucks. Our WWII lecture was about how women got jobs to support war and then lost them after. She also jumps from subject to subject without transitioning well. The T.A. is a kindergarden teacher and I hate her.

Good professor. She's an easy grader, we had two exams and two papers that she told us what chapters to use in the book. I got two As on the papers without much effort and easy grader on the exams as well. I got a B+ without reading.

I am totally not interested in History, but when the professor has such a passion for a subject, you tend to really enjoy the class. She is so willing to help everyone even when it comes to the paper. Reagan is awesome also. Isenberg takes the time to write comments on the paper, shes great!

Her lectures were entirely based on minor aspects of US history, such as popular music. She spent FOUR lectures (2 weeks) on the 1960's civil rights movement and protests and only spent 5 minutes on Vietnam. she did not even mention the Korean war. BAD!

She is boring!!!Talks so much about nothing!!! She doesn't grade you, so that is a good thing. Just make sure you don't get this TA named Abbey who is IGNORANT and annoying, and try and get this TA named Reagan, she is great!!!
