it is a toss up who is a better reading teacher, Prof. Scharlach or Prof. Tolbert, both are great, Prof. Torbert gives you a CD rom that will be invaluable to your teaching career......all professors should be like her.

Awesome professor, she really relates to the new teacher. I like her style of instruction she lets the person find their passion in teaching. I like her guiding techniques and her spirit of encouragement to her students. I enjoyed going to her lectures.

By far, the most inspirational teacher I have had at UCF. So much real-world experience is learned minus the UCF politics. Just real learning that you can apply to your own classroom. I'm looking forward to taking her again!!

She's an awesome teacher. The coolest thing about the class was when she'd read stories to the class & use her "reading glasses". You have to read 2 books as a group - chapter & picture; plus the 3 textbooks for class - Miller, Fisher, Tovani... write plenty of notes in the margins (what your grade is based on in the end)!

She is one of the nicest prof. at UCF, there are no tests. Just read 2 diff books (chapter & picture), read 3 text books, fun class. I just got sick of hearing about Debbie Miller. Very easy class

Terry is a wonderful teacher. There are no exams. Class always gets out early. Text is very interesting and useful. You learn a lot in this class and she is very knowledgable and helpful! I HIGHLY recommend taking her class!

I have taken Terry about four different times and I love her class! Take everything that she teaches it is completely worth it, she teaches stuff that you will use in your classroom, and the reading materials are very interesting and are worth it! She is a great person and always willing to help.

This is the best teacher you will have at UCF!!! It was a lot of reading for summer, but they will help you in the long run! She is so helpful and makes you copies of stuff she used in her classroom. GREAT RESOURCE! GREAT PROFESSOR!
