Comment:

Dr. Walstad gives out homework, the 2 days later gives solutions for you to check your answers. You are allowed 1/2 sheet of paper for all exams, and for the final, you are allowed a full sheet. As long as you know how to apply the equations and use them you're set. Make a good equation sheet and study some, his class is straight forward.

Walstad is a great man who cares and is passionate about the subject he is teaching. Sometimes confusing but ask for help and he will explain until you understand! Make sure to study and do practice problems though because the tests are the only grade you get!

He is the best physics professor on campus. This guy knows what he is talking about when it comes to physics. He is always more then willing to help anyone with any problem. Strongly advise taking him for anything possible. One more thing.. you better expect to study for his test, they are not freebees...

very good teacher; Schaum's outline seems stupid to buy, but it really helps; final is easier than all the tests; write down every SINGLE formula that you cover in class for the test! very enjoyable class!

I don't understand physics to begin with, but he was a fun, easygoing prof. You have to really know what you're doing to do well on his tests. But he allows you to use cheat-sheets for formulas. And he plays the guitar and that's always a plus.

Kind of a goofball, but he plays guitar so for that he rocks!!! Won of the more down to earth professors. He's a good guy. Do your work and you'll do fine in his class.
