Painful. He is such a disaster. If you take this class with Rappaport, expect to teach yourself from the textbook. People are not exaggerating when they say this guy is a mess. You get a note card for exams...but that only goes so far when you have absolutely no idea what's going on in the course. Avoid if at all possible...seriously.

Very boring, although he did cancel classes quite often from health problems. On the tests, let you use note cards and also don't even study..just circle the longest answer or all the above! I ended up getting a B in the course and I hardly went to class and didn't study.

Words can't adequately describe how big of a joke this class was. 2 weeks of classes were cancelled and when we were actually there he discussed completely irrelevant material. I would have learned the same amount by throwing a bag full of money out the window going down the highway as I did in here and still have the same to show for it, NOTHING.

He is an old guy who used to be smart but is losing his marbles and is now out of date. He almost died this semester from health problems-needs to retire. Taught myself everything by reading the textbook. Don't take if you won't read text yourself (all of it). Buy problem solutions from print center if you get stuck in his class.

This is the worst professor I have ever had. I am studying to be a teacher and I can tell you that he is doing everything wrong! His tests are completely random and do not match his instruction at all! He doesn't treat his students with respect unless they are A student. I would advise you STAY AWAY! Take it somewhere else if necessary!

This was an easy class. He let you use a note card on the test, so if you went to class and took notes, you could just transfer your notes onto the card. He also gave a review sheet so you knew what to put on the notecard.

I have had some hard professors so far in the College of Business, I understand the hardwork it takes to get a good grade. This guy is the worst f'n teacher I have ever had. You learn NOTHING in class, his questions are test are just totally random. 10% for what you study will be on there so you feel like you are wasting your time studying for test

I would try to add into another class before taking him. You need the book a lot in order to teach yourself. He tests over class stuff. He doesn't test over everything in the chapter, so it's important to go to class and TRY to understand it. Retakes on tests are sometimes allowed for 75%, but don't always count on them! Only grading is 3 tests

you know...his class kinda sucks but he really is a nice old guy if ya get to know him. study and take good notes (he tests over really lame things) and it really wont be bad- I took him for two classes...not super- but, not as bad as he is made out to be.
