Ben is by far one of the best professors at Kent. This guy knows what he's talking about and loves it. The labs are not intrusive and the tests are fair. You just need to make sure you pay attention to the lectures and take good notes because there is no book. I learned a lot and loved it! Ben's awesome and a heck of a nice guy.

By far one of the best, if not the best, professors I have ever had. Puts a little humor into the lecture, knows how to talk to students in ways they understand and a relatively easy grader. An easy A if you show up and pay attention. Respect him and he'll respect you. Ben is AWESOME!!

Dr. Whaley is an interesting guy. He knows his stuff and I learned a lot of interesting facts in his class. Unfortunately I did switch my major but it had nothing to do with him. I like how he injects some humor into his lectures. It makes the time go by faster.
