Comment:

One of the most irritating people I've ever met, very annoying voice and will often be passive aggressive and rude. Laughs at her own jokes too. Will tell people to study one thing for a test (which she doesn't curve btw, and expects detail of notes on) and will throw something entirely different on them. Stay far away for your own sanity.

She can definitely go on tangents in her lecture that can make it hard to follow, but she is so passionate about the topic and tries to keep you engaged with examples you can relate to. She's extremely eager to help you in office hours and her discussion is very helpful with cementing the material. Tests are tough but very clear what theywill be on

Toughest grader ever. Answer isn't in the box provided? No credit. Her lectures are long and drawn out while she talks about some ambiguous insect in the Costa Rican rainforest. And she'll call u out for being on ur phone or sleeping. Also, her tests are okay but she doesn't curve. Overall, difficult class. Avoid.

The class material is really interesting and Edgerly-Rooks is really into the topic; you can tell she's passionate about this class, but the lectures are often hard to follow as her notes are very scattered, and the labs take a long time. The field trips also provide really cool opportunities, and the tests aren't too hard.

She is the best professor I've ever had...so interested in the subject, wants to help students on an individual level, SO nice. Uses a lot of different assignments (not just exams, but papers and talks) I wish I could take more classes with her. Take upper divs with her so you can get to know her!

Terrible. I went in to talk to her about a test, and she lectured me about how I need to make more friends in class, even though she'd take time out of EVERY class to tell people to pay attention...She's absolutely crazy, and resembles Ellen Degeneris except that she's not funny.
