I really enjoyed this class. I've always been interested in architecture, but I never wanted to pursue it. This class allowed me to explore my interests while I take the courses for my career. Professor Sheckler is so nice and very helpful. Since this was a writing class, there was a lot of writing but she is an easy grader as long as you try.

She is awesome! The tests and quizzes are difficult but do-able as long as you go to class and take notes. She knows her stuff and explains it very clearly. Her enthusiasm is contagious. I definitely recommend her. Take her for art history!

I graduated 3 years ago and Sheck and I still keep in touch. I got an e-mail from her just the other day and it made me smile. She's probably the best professor I've ever had and a wonderful friend and I know she'll be in my life forever. I was an art history major because of her and it's been so woderful....

Prof. Sheckler is a very smart woman, and an outstanding professor, but I felt that FA181 was much too dificult for a 100 level art major requirement class. I feel bad for anyone who took this class as an elective. It's a GPA killer, and consumed the majority of my life this semester.

ok any whole talks back about sheck is just plain evil, and not in a good way. Sheck is the wo-man. she is SO helpful and no u cant just hand her crap and get a good grade but she wants her students to do well and she is very helpful. DEF take her, you will love her.

I thought I would love art history, but ended up hating it. The class is really hard and boring. For the midterm and final you have to memorize over 100 slides and she gives you like 8 on the test. She is very passionate about what she teaches though, and you can tell she knows everything about art history, but it just wasn't really my thing.

She seems nice and easy the first day.Then you get these 50-80pg packets to read every night.The packets are written in very technical advanced phd acrheological jargon.As a result, if you are a beginner at art,you will fail the detail oriented tests.On top of that she does not go over this stuff in class.Instead the classes are different.DONT TAKE
