I had Prof. Smith thru/out my sec. ed. experience... She is a much better "thinker" than "doer", but she provided me with many opportunities that helped me better myself as teacher and get a great job. She may be a little unorthodox and work you hard, but she knows her stuff!

Waste of time. Plays favorites. Hates you if you're quiet. Doesn't know what she's talking about. does useless garbage to past the time. Has no basis on which to grade the course. Doesn't believe a word you say. Swears she knows what you're thinking. Don't take it unless you have to. Materials are interesting but you don't get tested on it. B%$#&

She is not only the worst teacher I have ever had, but is also the worst PERSON i have ever met. She is self-centered, uncaring, and FAKE. She is an awful director of secondary ed; needs to be fired. If you are thinking about coming to stonehill for teaching high school GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

I had all great grades and then she gave me a D out of the blue. When asked why I received that grade she said "you're from Boston and since the class is based on events from Boston I expected you would teach the class." That's HER job! wouldn't excuse you for athletics.

Definitely confusing. Doesn't know what she wants. Runs her mouth and thinks that she's "teaching" but is really ruining the experience.I don't see a point of this course when she's teaching. Let's her emotions get the best of her which is bad when she's grading. Fun class but you're still failing.

the book is horribly detailed with insignificant information, the project was not fun. her secretary is mean! class goes by pretty fast though, and she's enthusiastic - wants her students to do well. fairly tough grader, sometimes unclear in what she want
