If you actually need help with physics switch out of his class immediately. If you have a good physics basis, class is entertaining cuz he's so insane and his quizzes are easy. As long as you write a bunch of numbers for the hw he'll give you full credit as well

Terrible instructor. He's senile, makes no sense whatsoever, spends all of lecture deriving equations we use on a regular basis, makes noise during quizzes/exams, etc. In class quizzes come directly from homework.

He was my recitation TA and I actually learned more in lecture than I did from this useless creature. He spends the class period deriving equations and doing the homework that we already have the solutions to! He is the most monotone, boring, and uninteresting person I have encountered. He is incapable of clearly explaining ANYTHING.

The worst teacher I have ever had. Words cannot express my contempt for his recitation. Undoubtedly senile, and completely oblivious to the world around him. Going to his class at 8:20 am was the most cosmic waste of time. He talks more about his life than subject matter. On the bright side, you can hand in homework a week late and he won't care.

If you have Kanofsky for anything you are in trouble, he is probably the worst person in the physics department. The quizzes are just more problems from the book and he is quite useless when it comes to extra help. In class he just rambles incoherantly and laughs at himself until the class has no isea what is going on...dont take him ever.

Alright this guy has his degree in Particle Physics and he's teaching an Intro. Physics recitation. This should send up red flags right off the bat. He is so strage that we spent more time laughing at him than learning. He also does all the homework for you so it is more of a hinderance in the long run. Transfer out if you can to a TA.

I feel bad giving him a bad rating. He is a really nice harmless kind of guy. Laughs a lot. He is just completely clueless abt teaching. I didnt really learn a thing. I guess maybe it was a little advantageous just hearing some vocab.
