Comment:
She wasn't very good with technology and when she wrote on the blackboard it was tough to read with her hand writing. She also doesn't post notes online so getting good notes can be frustrating.

If you havent taken calc before hold on to your seat belts. I dont know if she was born before electricity but she struggles with technology more than anyone I have ever seen. She pretends she knows math but only does examples the book gives and I dont know if she could do our homework. You are better of skipping lecture and reading the book.

Lectures can be unorganized and she likes to cram info in during the last few minutes. But she is very helpful outside of class and will do what she can to help your grade. Provides a practice test very similar to actual test as well. Take class with her if you can.

Amanda was my first Calc Professor. She's helpful but sometimes she seems to get lost in her own examples. She's always positive and seems to understand when things get a little on the heavy side.

Often goes too fast, doing steps aren't clear to many. Crams too much within the last few minutes of class, which causes the students minds to explode due to the over flooding that occurs in their head.

Comment:
This class has only made calc more confusing and banal. Luckily I took it in high school so I know what she talks about, but woe to the student who knows naught. She struggles to comprehend her own thoughts, and thinks she's constantly in a battle for power that doesn't exist. Take the class, but use other resources to explain things better.

She was probably the best calc Teacher I had, over Angela Sharp and Dr. Carmen Latterell, although don't get me wrong they were awesome too. But... Amanda helped me the most by far. If you ever need any help she will gladly sit down and walk you through your problems. Highly recommend taking classes with her if you have the option.
