I absolutely loved her. shes adorable and my class of maybe 20 people at the most bonded so well. if I needed more language credits id def take span 210 wit her next semester. TAKE HER CLASS! as long as you participate in class you will pass. she never uses the board but its like a high school class. it was awesome. 267

she is preety easy and sticks with the syllabus.attendance is mandatory. exams are preety easy and we need to write a paragraph for every class. for final, no writtwn you just need to do something in front of the class like speech, essay, presentation etc. overall i like her and very easy.The easiness depends on which spanish level it is.

I think it's a combination of the department and the professor, but I did not enjoy this class! She is not very helpful and never wrote anything on the board! Makes it almost impossible to learn Spanish, even though I really wanted to. I would not recommend taking her class.

Very good teacher but very poor class. GMUs spanish department has a horrible method for teaching the students spanish. You basically have to have taken spanish before to pass and be good at teaching yourself. Lezama focuses on class participation presentations and exams mostly. You absolutely need a textbook Exams are from the department and hard

This teacher cares more about keeping on track w/ the syllabus and seems almost scared of the department getting upset than actually teaching us something. She never once wrote on the board to teach us something but only reads out answers for the hw. If you enjoy teaching yourself this class is for you. If you need a real teacher look elsewhere.

An excellent professor. I learned a lot. Don't take her for granted, attend classes, and make an honest effort to learn. She will easily be offended by those "just trying to get by." As long as you make a concerted effort to learn the language she will give you a good grade. It may just be a gen ed but learn something while you are there!!!!!

Best spanish teacher...probably in THE WORLD. You actually learn in the class, she's not intimidating at all, she actually helps you, she cared about if we did well and always reviewed before the exam. Attendance is deff mandatory but if you go you will pass. TAKE HER!!

One of the best! She is very nice and very respectful! I had her for 3 Spanish courses and loved all of the classes. I hate foreign language courses and she somehow made it an enjoyable experience for me. She is very helpful, take her!

Very nice woman. I am horrible at spanish and failed EVERY test (I'm talking in the 30's) and still passed with a C. Show up to class and participate and you should do fine. If you show up and attempt the oral presentation you get full credit!!!

Sra. Lezama will do everything in her power to help you pass with a good grade. SHe is very lenient, an easy grader, and she makes coming to class fun. It's a fast passed class for beginners, but you will do well just by coming to class and giving your best effort on assignments and such.

If you have to take 109 take Profesora Lezama. She is the best spanish professor in the department and her class is only easy because it is fun and you actually enjoy going. Avoid professors Ana C. Gonzales and Gladys M. Rodriguez they are terrible.
