She is just full of herself. I passed MATH 119 with an easy A. I never had problem with math until i had her. Stay away from her. She doesnt only focus on the class but she teaches you things that you really dont need.

She gives great notes. But she is full of herself and very disrespectful. She talks to student like they are beneath her. She is the smartest person an earth and knows everything. I took Boyd for online Calc II. I don't know whether it is the level of difficulty of the curriculum or her teaching skills that made me withdrawl from the class. SHE DOESNT GIVE A STUDY GUIDE FOR EITHER MIDTERM OR FINAL... that pretty much says it all. If you take her online and expect to do good when you show up for an exam, good luck!

With it being a remedial class, once she teaches you something, she expects you to know it. Period. She was very helpful and friendly. Tests every Friday, and tons of My Math Lab homework after every class, but it was good all in all.

I Had Her For Two semester. I really learned form her. She gave us a lot of homework that help me a lot. Her notes and the way she teaches help the students. Very hard to pass, you have to study a lot to pass not an easy class.

Her notes are done on the projector, this made it difficult for me to understand, notes are done neatly on the projector, this is great, but I prefer old school black board. She goes a little to fast and seems to get a little annoyed at times.

Boyd is an awesome professor. she is understand and is willing to help all the time! when you dont understand something she will explain it in a different way that you will understand. her class isn't easy but she prepares you very well for future math classes. she's great take her if you can!!

Yes her test are hard because she is preparing you for higher levels of math. she is always willing to stay after class and help you better understand the work so not to hold back her lecture. Her notes are done by tablet and that works out because if you miss a day you can easily print out her notes through ANGEL. Do the homework and study!

Just horrible. Goes the long way, and wants things done her way. Tests are insane, and she takes her anger out on students when things go incorrect. Avoid if you want to learn the material nicely, and more accurate tests. One time she cursed our whole class out because everybody bombed her test.

seemed easy at first, well the notes are pretty damn clear but the exams are ridiculously hard. She does all her notes over the projector, I just think it's easier to do things old school and off the black board. I wouldn't recommend her. Don't do it to yourself.

She is esay in Math 015,016,but in 143,144,171,172. She is difficult in higher grades her notes are clear, but the quizzes and exams are very difficult.
