Comment:

Professor Hammermeister is a very nice and funny instructor. She is the type of teacher who make you want to go to class everyday. She gives you great feedback on what you need for the test. You take very little notes but they still help you with the test. Her exam reviews match the exams almost completely. I highly recommend this Proffessor.

Hammermeister is wonderful! She is humble, funny, and genuinely passionate about teaching. I love that her lectures are not just her talking the entire time. There is a lot of good class discussion and participative safety. Her grading criteria is crystal clear. If you show up to class and follow her instructions you will pass with ease!

Amy is an all around amazing professor. She is very understanding. She gives test answers during her lectures, so its easier on you if you go to class. Her classes are never boring and shes hilarious. She has been the best professor I have had at WOU!

She was super electric and she cares about her students. Her lectures were amazing and she grabbed her students attention by appealing to their emotions. Each class was different but they were all very interesting and fun. Definitely would recommend her. She makes learning fun.

Amy is undoubtedly one of the, if not the best professors I've had at Western! She's funny, and makes me look forward to class, which is something very rare in my book. The tests are not easy, but if you show up to class and do your work, it's hard to not do well. Excited to take human sexuality with her next term!

Hammermeister is the best Nutrition professor at WOU!! Seriously take her classes! She is really easy going, and doesn't assign a lot of work but you need to turn everything in and participate in class. When I look back on this class, I can't really think of anything I learned from her. The movie Food Inc. stuck with me, but that was the movie, not the professor. This class is not really a detailed nutrition class, it is more of a try be more careful what you eat class. EASY!

Amy is passionate about what she teaches and it shows. The activities she does shows that learning can be fun and to learn you do not have to sit and listen to a professor go on and on. What she teaches is down to earth and realistic.
