Prof Lefevre is a great professor. She is invested in the success of her students. If the style of the class that is presented isn't working for the students she is more then willing to adjust and go with what works. She does have a pretty dry sense of humor but I enjoyed her humor and her approach, it was a nice change from the usual.

Amy is a very sarcastic person. She has a really dry sense of humor. A lot of students didnt seem to catch on to her jokes. Her tests are really based on the lectures, and if you dont go to class, you wont get a lot of the information. Her slides get posted online, but you really have to listen to her. Shes very straightforward, too.

If you don't like sarcasm then you probably won't like her, lectures can get pretty boring because she literally reads off the slide, but she does randomly give extra credit so you should definitely show up. Tests are HARD! make sure you read the textbook!! she does not just test based on memorization she actually wants to make sure you understand

Tests are really tough because most of the response choices are similar. All the info you need is on her slides, which she uploads, and the textbook (textbook is mandatory). She is helpful during class and during office hours. Oh, and my class mostly failed or almost failed for a bunch of the exams. We had a curve.

one of the best professors. funny and helpful lady. However, her exams are a nightmare! They are multiple choice, but 3 out of the 4 choices are the same, so you have to really know your stuff. If you want to pass the course, go to class so you don't miss her "extra credit points" and take notes on her slides a lot of information is used for tests.

I think people give her too much criticism. Her lectures are somewhat interesting and she includes her own personal anecdotes along with the course material. This class takes some work, but it's not difficult to succeed if you study a few days before the test. I feel like most students who do poorly are not using the textbook. Overall, good class.

She knows what she's talking about and is very informative on the topic. The only real complaint I have is that the tests are super hard. No matter how hard I study I've only been doing mediocre on her tests. People complain that she's "mean" but that's all personal perception, she just doesn't baby you. We're in college.

VERY DIFFICULT. Had to drop this class bc couldn't do good on tests. She is usually available. But the tests require you to study yourself. Her notes & lectures did not help me. No curves !!!

One of the worst teachers ive ever had in my life. As a teacher she is lacking every needed skill and as a person she is almost as bad as she is on a normal basis demeaning members of the class and is mean and sarcastic. I would never ever ever take another class with her. She has single handedly steered me away from the subject of Psychology.

She's an excellent teacher with a great deal of insight into the concepts covered throughout the course. I enjoyed attending every lecture. Her in class discussions were always entertaining and she also has a unique sense of humor. Always willing to help and wants students to learn the material thoroughly.

The course is interesting and her exams are not that hard. Definitely make use of the text book, which does not mandate you to read, but it helps to read. As a professor, not a fan. She's very VERY sarcastic and not a help to students.

I really struggled in the beginning of her class. I wound up with an A only because of extra credit and she definitely had to curve it, 50% of the class got a D or lower on the first test. She is extremely rude and condescending. USE THE TEXTBOOK and read all small details they'll be on the test unfortunately. Take w/ a different prof. if possible

Prof LeFevre is by far my favorite professor. She is sarcastic and keeps control of her classroom. She treats her student as college students so don't expect her to hand feed you the answers. Best suggestions are to read the book, come to class and STUDY!

Class wasn't too bad. Tests are kinda annoying. Half the questions you can figure out with minimal prior knowledge, some are nit-picky. She tangents off frequently. Attendance is not mandatory, slides are posted online, all the info you need for the tests is in the slides. You don't need to go to class. I did and usually listened to music.

Need to read the textbook to do well on her test. She puts her slides online and there were no pop quizzes. 4 exams, covered 3 chapters each exam. Grade consists of average of 4 tests. Easy material. 3 points of extra credit available towards final grade

Social Psych is my major and LeFevre made me dread going. Horrible instructor. She does offer slides that are incredibly helpful and exams aren't too bad, but she has random pointless pop quizzes about literally the weather. You'll learn more if you try to pay attention but you can get an A even if you don't.

In terms of actual learning, LeFevre is terrible. In terms of an easy A, she's awesome. You can get at least a 90 on all tests without attending a single class as long as you study from the textbook. However, for someone who claims to want to "just help kids learn," I feel like I retained very little. Also, the pop quizzed were annoying.

Attendance not mandatory but pop quizzes were given. Not responsive to students. Makes many assumptions that aren't congruent with data.
