For example (1) all quizzes are timed to 10 or 15 minutes, (2) you can only see one question at a time and if you don't know the answer and you move to the next you cannot go back to try to guess it (3) there are 5 papers due (4) there are 9 quizzes and (5) 10 discussion plus replies. There is tons of reading, ridiculous amount. -DO NOT TAKE HER

Excellent teacher. She mad us think, and that bothers those who don't want to do that. She's fair, funny, and good at making the class interesting. Tests are not always easy, but she gives out Test Banks that give you ll questions that may be on test. Know those and no sweat. You'll do fine. Great teacher!

Taking her online. At first, the class was really hard. Quizzes don't have a lot of questions so one wrong answer can hurt you a lot. The questions are worded kinda tricky too. Although, the last couple quizzes were incredibly easy. Discussions are an easy 25 points each week and there are 5 one page papers that help boost your grade. Got an A.

Worst class I have ever taken. I adore mythology and HATED this class! The assignments rarely had anything to do with the subject matter. Her political leanings came into play very often with her grading, and even though I SHARE many of her views, I do not think it is fair to let them influence grades. **AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!**

Prof. Temes treat the students as all of us were lazy people, she is very rude in her comments, she doesn't want academic papers in MLA or APA style, she doesn't accept quotes, references or citations, research doesn't count, and if the paper is in your own words she will take MANY points out; WHAT this lady wants? who knows...do not take her!

Beyond rude. Would not respond to e-mails, does not give feed backs on grading, I'm inclined to believe she is prejudiced. she gave me a zero for my research and refused to tell me why. I submitted my research before the due date. I wonder what grade she gives to students who are late. Thanks to her, I have to take the class again. Stay away!

When she misunderstands something she just bases it off her opinion and does not bother trying to discuss the issue. If you write a paper and have a question about the grade she gives she will not give any explanation- if she does it will be mostly based on her own OPINION of the subject and not the FACTS you provided.

WORSE TEACHER EVER!!!! I have never left a comment for a teacher, but I decided to warn everyone of this horrible teacher. She was EXTREMELY rude to EVERYONE in the class, and does not interact with the students at all. How can you have a full learning experience, when the teacher can not even tell you what she expects from you?

Agree completely with previous reviewers. Quizzes don't have enough questions, so even one wrong answer causes a bomb. Cursory and superficial online material, totally unclear assignment expectations, very little feedback, apparently random grading. 4.0 GPA up to this point, strength in writing/humanities, but this class has been awful.

Wow, quizzes had only a few questions and at least one of them wasn't even in the modules. She gives no parameters on essays and no feedback. I'm majoring in cultural anthropology, so I'm no stranger to this topic and I barely got by with a C. She bombed my research paper and gave me no reason what so ever. Worst and most stressful class ever.

I must have shared a class with the other commentor from HUM 2310, as every word is true. Assignment requirements are unclear. Grades seem to be based on whim. Temes refuses to give feedback. How are students supposed to learn from their mistakes without feedback!?! Had a 4.0 until I took this class, and I'm graduating this spring. Stay away!!!!

I dropped her class 10 minutes ago. She is horrible. You should take her if you enjoy never receiving responses to e mails that you send her and if you enjoy small quizzes every second that you will fail since her questions are worded weird and half-the-time not covering material that you will force yourself to read. Take someone else. Trust me. .

This online class(Mythology) is horrible so don't EVER take it. There is 15 min for each quiz for an entire section. I have only gotten a 100 on the syllabus quiz & its open notes! I tried to express my frustration and she was very rude accepting it. Her reading modules are unclear and filled with bombastic wording to make it sound intelligent.

The funniest class that i have taken so far. I took her Latin American Studies class and it was fun. You don't have to do any presentation or group project. Take her class and relax, take it easy.

This professor is beyond rude. Her instructions are unclear and then to top it all off, she is very strict with grading. You have to make sure to do every little thing she says, EXACTLY, how she says it (even if half the time you are guessing) or your grade will suffer. Not someone I would recommend.

Prof Temas is by far the best teacher in valencia and that I have every taken. The class is challenging and fun. She is very funny&honest. The class is clear w/ the requirements.Always looked forward to Prof T. discussions. is the example of what a professor should aspire to be: inspiring and committed to students. Take her in any class you can!

This prof. is funny, but very rude to students if they receive a ph.call during class... I think she is not fair when grading... I had all A's in tests and essays... except for 1 essay that I had a B... and at the last test I don't think I did that bad.. and gave me a B on the class... She grades based on her feelings!! it's the truth!
