Comment:

She loves boasting about how smart she is, but yet gives the chance to prove how smart a student is. If you have a question, dont ask, because she loves referring to the book, even though you never use it in class. She refrained from helping me at all this semester. She asks ridiculous questions on tests. If you want to take stats, dont take her.

I don't mind doing the work but she is not clear about assignments and at many times said YOU FIGURE IT OUT, when you have a questions. I would not be asking questions if I could understand what you wanted. This is the third time I have taken this course and I am doing worse in her class. I try really hard and do all the work but she is not clear.

She is honestly the worst professor I have ever taken. She does not teach to a level you can understand and if you have questions forget them being answered. I went to her office many times for help and all she told me was to go read the book and figure it out. She also recieved the lowest pass rate and highest drop rate out of all of Lander.

Comment:

Great professor but not the best for basic math. Online HW can be taken multiple times. Gives quizzes pretty often so stay prepared by reading the material. Find a good partner to do classwork with. Not the best at explaining things on a basic level so be as clear as possible with questions. Overall, not the worst class ever but I'm glad its over.

I took her class as a freshman, and she honestly was one of the most difficult classes I had taken all semester. I wouldn't have passed had I not taken Stats my senior year. She knows what she's talking about, but doesn't explain any of the subject matter well. It's like walking in the dark without a flashlight. Avoid at all costs!!!

DO NOT TAKE HER. I WAS WARNED BY MULTIPLE STUDENTS NOT TO TAKE HER BUT HAD NO CHOICE BECAUSE SHE WAS THE LAST PROFESSOR LEFT. Every other problem is a word problem, she takes forever to "explain" things. If you don't understand something and ask her for help, she'll go "Is this really that hard for you?". AVOID HER AT ALL COSTS.

Mrs. Lubecke was an interesting teacher. She has a different way of conducting her class. If your a morning person, take this class. She is very peppy in the mornings. A lot of students think she is hard because she does not explain things in the best way, or dodges the question. Not my most favorite teacher, but it can be done.

She really knows her stuff, but she CAN NOT teach. When homework and the test are given, the problems never look like what you do in class, and when you ask her to go over it in class she makes huge jumps and just assume that everyone can make this wild connections. If you don't get to know her on a personal level its almost impossible to pass.

Professor Lubecke is by far the hardest teacher I've had in my entire academic career. We had three tests, while other MATH 121 classes had five or six, and she grades based on what type of student you are i.e. if you show up to class and how hard you work for your grade. If you don't like group work, too bad. Expect pop quizzes every week too.

I took stats in highschool so I earned a high A in this course, but for some of my friends that had never taken stats, she was not a good teacher. I can tell that she would be a great upper-level math and stats professor, but can't seem to connect with lower-level math courses like 121 and 211.

She's not nice, I literally have not met a teacher who didn't want to help there students succeed until I met Lubecke. She trys to be as vaque as possible, tricks us on her quizes and tests, sometimes its not even from the text or her teaching. Doesn't teach just does group work.Take my advice and leave.

She is a very good teacher. You have to ask her for help though. She knew I was sincere and did not get statistics in general. She would keep me and a couple others after class until we got it. Took her during a summer session. She was truly dedicated to her students success, as long as they were too.
