Fun teacher and straightforward class. She gave us significant independence in our work and research, which I appreciated. I enjoyed her sense of humor and felt that she graded thoroughly and fairly.

She was such an awesome professor. She got down to a students level and really made the class fun and entertaining. You defiantly need the book for her class but its not that hard to read. Yes we did have a small journal entry to do every Thursday but besides that it is really only 3 essays the whole semester. She was awesome and so cool!

I'm not sure how she teaches her other classes (looking at her page, i didn't see any COM classes), but I had no problem with her, taking ENG 101. I took the course online, and found her very helpful. I was afraid to take an online class, but after this class, I'm sure I'll continue taking them. I'd recommend taking the course with this professor.

This was the must inconsistent teacher I ever had. We never talked about the text book in class but was expected to read multiple chapters and was quizzed on it. "Quizzed" meaning 40-50 questions per quiz. She was a horrible grader and missed almost a week and half of class in a row. I will never take her again. Interesting but an overall bad prof.

She taught a pop culture class. The only part of the class I found interesting were the lessons on post modernism. We were required to watch "Boys Don't Cry" during two class periods. I got up and walked out. I am conservative and submitted multiple papers that were contrary to her personal beliefs. She still graded them fairly.

Professor is really knowledgable and articulate HOWEVER she expects too much. She teaches the class like COM230 and grades it like COM500. Don't take this class from her! She expects too much for the class level. I like her personally but she needs a new profession.

She is a fun teacher, always pushing our class. There is an extraordinary amount of group work to be done outside of class, which was probably what makes the class hard. Still a fun teacher.

I already think that communications is a waste of time, but she makes it all to apparent. There is no teaching what so ever. One just reads the book and takes a test. I don't recomend this teacher.
