Comment:

Hands down the worst professor I've had at MJC. Her uploaded lectures were fast and very poor sound quality. No subtitles or Closed captions. Her prompts are vague, but her grading is precise. She does reply to emails within the time frame on her syllabus, but these often do not answer question. Also a mandatory book was never used. Had to drop.

I took her for Women Studies. I had to drop her class, because I couldn't keep up. She was all over the place and she talks way to fast on her lectures. Pop quizzes every class and it's timed! Lots of reading and writing essays!

Incredibly long lectures and very difficult to get into. Follows up with powerpoints but all her tests and pop quizes are off her lecture. Difficult essays worse than an english teacher. Do not recomend you must pay for multiple sites to do your homework and take quizes. Is a very smart person knows what she is talking about not good teacher.

horrible, do not take. she is very boring and its hard to pay attention. you take test everyday but they dont count for a lot. you are mostly graded by midterms and their essays which are graded very hard. she expects too much from a class that too big to be involved. i would highly recommend taking a different teacher

Please dont take her, she is a horrible teacher. Seems like she doesnt even know what she talking about or that she doesnt practice her lectures or anything because its very hard to understand her lectures and she skips a lot of slides as well and goes really fast just trying to push out all the info.

I had Professor Mo over summer. I did really well. She is very organized, has everything ready for you to do assignments and get them done. Yes consisted of a lot of work, but IF YOU DO It should receive great grades. I enjoyed her, and learned a lot. Recommendations if you actually want to learn something take her, if not go find someone else.

She's rude to her students, and when students have a problem on something she doesn't make time to fix it. A lot of pop quizes. And of you have technology problems your most likely will get low scores on the quizzes. And I find it hard taking notes the way she lectures.

Shes a terrible teacher overall. Shes rude to her students and you get pop quizzes on every lecture which is every single day. To anyone taking or wanting to take her class DONT DO IT!

ridiculously hard. Required TWO midterms which were times essays in which she graded harshly. Each week there was about 5-10 assignments and 4-5 lectures more than an hour long. Not to mention the reading was never ending. I usually like teachers who push you hard but it was like she could never find the good in anything you turned in

I had Professor Mo for Women's History for spring semester 2017 online and I enjoyed her class. If you are a procrastinator, like I am, it could be a struggle to have everything in on time but I highly suggest you do every. single. assignment. I cannot stress this enough. Overall I enjoyed her lectures, learned a lot, did the work, and passed.

I beg you to not take this class with her. She has little compassion or empathy for her students which is oe of the greatest signs of a leader. If there are ANY life issues to arise she has no heart for late work. Her greatest loss is the connection with her students. Another note worthy reason to sign up with another professor is less reading.

I had Eva Mo for womens history this semester and I just dropped out of her class last week. Her assignments are very tough and I dont think that shes very good at explaining assignments throughly. Im not so fond with her way of teaching. Her teaching is definitely more advanced. Be ready for a butt load of work if you take her class!

Professor Mo really knows what she is talking about, and is really into her teaching. While she is good at giving lecture information she is not good at assignment information. She changes her mind a lot about assignments and puts a lot of credit in small tasks. Attending a majority of the classes is vital.

Taking this class took plenty of work. There is a large amount of reading to do. The lecture were enjoyable, but at some moments a little choppy, but good as well. The professor is very understanding and helpful. She is good at helping student and guiding them in the right direction.

She's passionate in her teachings, although she can tend to confuse herself as well as the students. As long as you attend each class, do good on quizzes, essays, & assignments, and are not afraid to ask questions, you should be able to pass this class.
