Comment:

Only one assignment was graded until the end of semester. Dr. Miller did not communicate witht the class for almost an entire month. She did not respond to one email. The only way I could really get any questions answered was through her Wimba sessions. A discussion board was created for any questions but she did not post a reponse to anything.

Comment:

Clarion should be ashamed of itself. She is beyond unprofessional. Projects were assigned but were never checked or graded until the last week of school. It suddenly became the class's responsibility to organize itself. If I had to take another class with this lazy, disorganized, uncaring teacher, I would rather drop out.

Does not explain assignments, will not respond to email, provides no feedback on any assignment until the last week of class. You never know how well you're doing. Administration is aware of her uselessness, but, due to teacher union complications, cannot terminate her. Worst teacher at Clarion.

By far the worst class I've taken at Clarion. I get the impression that she is bored. Provides very vague assignment descriptions and then seems to get angry when we ask for clarification. Spends large chunks of time reading from books or journal articles. Criticism given is not constructive in the least.

In my 4 years of college she is absolutely the most unorganized, unprofessional teacher I have ever had. Her class is not necessarily hard but I would rather drop out of college then even have another teacher like her. I cannot believe she is still employed as a professor.

Dr. Miller (so I have heard) used to be a good teacher. Now it's like she doesn't care anymore. She often skips class, gives irrelevant, incomprehensible lectures, and assigns work and barely explains it. I will, however, say that she is an able and helpful advisor.

Dr. Miller was horrible at correspondance and grading anything for our cohort group. Her assignments were at times confusing because they aren't explained and then she doesn't check BB. Horrible online professor.

Dr. Miller is a wonderful professor. She is very kind and usually pretty good about keeping your attention. She has alot of knowledge on her teachings and she is willingto give her students the benefit of the doubt at times. Great prof! I highly recommend her!

I had her for an advisor during student teacher. She refused to allow me to miss a day student teaching for a family members funeral. Also, she failed to write me a recommendation despite repeated attempts on my part to contact her. Nearly cost me a job.

Andrea Miller Sucks. She is a glory hound and a credit stealer. Be sure not to co author any papers with her. Her professional resume includes a fun run she did to fight cancer in 1978. She is also cold and unfeeling. Dont be suprised if she gives you a quaint little speech about blips on your radar when your family is killed in a plane crash.

Just because a class isn't easy doesn't mean the professor is bad! I had Andrea for several classes and she IS tough, but she is one of the best in the business. She knows her subject matter extremely well and she cares about libraries. I'm offended by the ngative comments. You're in college, work hard or get out.

Make sure she clarifies exactly what is wanted for her assignements. She frequently changes the assignment mid-stream. She also needs to use rubrics. Many of us feel that she assigns grades randomly.
