Pretty hard class. I got a B- with minimal effort. Very boring lecture. She's kind, but the lectures are not interesting. You should get a B with decent effort. Tests are fairly hard. One project where u have to speak in front of class. I probably wouldn't take her again because she pretty boring, but if it's your subject it shouldn't be hard

If you enjoy day dreaming and doodling, then have at it. I learned nothing from this class. All she does is go on and on about her days working for the state. When you make a comment, she cuts you off and is condescending. I hated this class. I did well in my HS govt class, but not this one. Pick someone else. You wont learn anything from her.

I love politics, but hate studying. If u read the book u will do fine. If u dont, like me,u usually get B's at a decent high school then u should get 78's on the tests like me. No papers,4 tests and drop the worst score,1 presentation for exam %20 of grade. Only uses overhead, likes participation but not apart of grade,show up & do good on tests

Dull teacher teaching a dull subject. She was pretty hard to please as well, you have to know what she wants in projects and essays. Had a guy get a 30/50 on a report who wrote 3 pages where I wrote 1 1/2 pages and got a 45/50, just be careful on what she expects. She also misinterpreted a lot of questions which was frustrating.

Was always 15 minutes late to class. Always read off the projector- Very boring. However, she seemed to know what she was talking about, and refrained from taking political sides. Course material itself was easy, as well as the tests. If you have basic knowledge of government and don't want to buy a book, this class is okay. If you struggle, avoid.

Contrary to most, I actually liked this teacher. She wasn't the most professional, but she was very realistic- not too many people can be really enthusiastic about basic government. Her tests are simple enough if you listen to the review, and she is really despite her appearance a very intelligent and well educated woman. I respect her.

She was one of the worst teachers ive had. she is not only boring but rude and cranky. i had a 3 hour class with her and on exam day she didnt really plan ahead and gave us the exam 1 min before we were suposed to get out. it is obvious she does not want to be teaching.

i SHOULD have listened to the others! don't take her! she is so hard to listen to because she pauses in the middle of sentences so everything seems so boring and it is hard to listen to.. easy work, buy the study guide, don't bother with the book, we never used it.. tests are bubble sheets, assignments are simple.. bad teacher, easy class? idk..

she shut us down at times.... she even missed a day of class with out even letting us know she was not going to show up... she is mean as hell... and look at people crazy at times.. she can even be discouraging when asking quetions or giving comments in class.

HORRIBLE. She 'accidentally' dropped me from the class while I was still going and took 3 weeks to add me back in. I called her 5 times and sent her 3 e-mails and never heard back. I tried to set up ofice hours for 3 weeks and then gave up. If you do not have to take this calss, DON'T!!! Oh and her gradding makes NO sense.
