He's one of the best teachers I've ever taken for Math. I hate math, have my entire life and he made it understandable by comparing to real life instead of statistics we couldn't care less about. If you didn't understand, he was more than willing to help you get there. He will break it down until you understand it and not fall behind. I'd give a 10

Very tough grader plus his exams are hard. One of the hardest classes I have ever taken. He's very stingy when it comes to giving partial credit. Doesn't explain what I did wrong on my quizzes or exams. This class required more time than my major classes because of the amount of homework and quizzes he gives. Doesn't even teach the class himself

This guy saved my GPA! I took Calc before with another professor who was simply horrible but Beiderman saved me! He gives students endless resources and guidance to pass so there's really no reason for anyone to fail this class. He gives partial credit on tests and explains things well! Best math teacher I've had in a while! I highly recommend him!

I entered this class with anxiety. His teaching style is AMAZING. Records all of his classes. Available during office hours. Loves helping his students. Without his help and eagerness, I wouldn't have passed. Do the h/w all the time=easy A. Do the h/w sometimes=B. Quizzes help. I managed to get a B. But an A is definitely possible w/ this teacher!

He is a very good instructor. He is clear in what he wants students know. He is organized and so is t course content. He makes calculus very easy. He will help you outside of class, if you need help. He is willing to help you so that you succeed in his class. Very helpful and makes the subject very easy. Highly recommended.

promptly started class,easy going and made it interesting.Offered assistance and was able to read a student's face and offer assistance.Quizzes every other class but based on previous lesson.Exams are reviewed and projects were not to difficult. Very helpful. Loved this class because it was self-paced and ask him for help and he will be right there, showing you how to do it and how to do it two more ways or more. Test are extra easy if you look through your book before and take all the mini test. Deff would love to take another class by him!

Very good teacher. Explains everything using examples on the board. Very open to questions. Gives quizzes every week which help you remember the material for the test. Oh, and he's hot too!
