Dr. Browe was tough, no doubt about it, but now i use many things i was forced to learn in his class in my day to day. Glad i took the class, it taught me what hard work really is and how far i could push myself.

Sorry everyone...but it's true that class was hard, but it taught me so much. I still use the skills and knowledge I developed and got from Dr. Browe. Not so nice at the beginning, great guy when he discovers you want to be one of the best. I still have nightmares about him, hahaha...

Awful awful awful!!!!! He expects way too much...gives homework every night for stuff we didn't even talk about yet and can't be found in the book. The class takes up a lot of time doing the work. He makes it as hard as he possibly can and I don't think he was helpful at all. The first day of class he told us at least half of us would fail.

Amazing professor, I have learned more from Dr Browe's class then any other professor at IUP I would recommend all students considering medical professions to take him. Hes a great guy can be mean sometimes but all and all hes great....hard class but worth it.Flow diagrams help you explain physiology...and will help with patients.

well, he is an excellent professor. Although..you will work HARD to pass this class, which is actually good, because you don't want to kill your patients. Lots of flow charts. If you try your best, ignore what he says about failing. Make space to study for his class..because it will take your WHOLE TIME=no parties

Physiology is a hard class... i knew that coming into his class and I know that coming out. It is possible to pass however, and if you try your best and attend office hrs, reviews, si's, tutoring, you can succeed! I thought i would fail- and i would have if i hadn't come into this semester ready to give it my all-- there really are tons of flows!!

well...he is a nice professor. Just a few things: Dr. Browe teachs you to work under pressure: He doesn't stop talking while you are taking a quiz!. Second, Dr. Browe wants you to take care of yourself: he doesnt stop talking about how many of us are going to get multiple sclerosis! or our life span after taking his class. Third: FLOW DiAGRAMS.

Dr. Browe is the best professor at IUP. Physiology is an interesting class and an essential for any serious medical student. If you didn't like this class, its because you are not used to working in a class. Dr. Browe makes you work for your grade and that is because he wants you to succeed in the medical field.

Two words : Flow Charts. Make sure you stock-up on ink-cartregies because the charts have to be completed on a computer and printed out. He will NOT accept any other form. He is a really hard professor. The material sucks, and the way he presents it doesn't make it any easier. You're better off taking phys at a different school.

I enjoy Dr. Browe as a person and he is easy to respect. My only advice for his classes is to read your notes while highlighting what he is talking about in the book. His exams are unlike any exam you will ever take. His multiple choice questions are infamous and only possible to study for via copious amounts of comparison charts. Good Luck!!!!

I had this class last spring and I passed it the first time!! It's not impossible, make comparison charts, buy the notes, and do all the homework even though he says some won't be collected. Go to class and to his office hours if you have a question, the more he sees you the better!!

Learn how to be a real man and just teach the damn class. This guy fools around with info that is totally unrelative to the test. Totally unprepares anybody and expects you to know everything right off the bat (probably because most of his students are retaking it). totally a joke. stay away from him and his class if you can

Dr. Browe is the most intelligent man I know. His class is really hard, but for good reason. If you are a serious student and try hard in his class, you will do fine. It is not impossible to get an A in his class, you just have to be prepared to study a lot. Make comparison charts and study them for the test. Ask questions, he likes that.

Everything he teaches you is true and extremely important if you want to be in the medical field. I use the information I learned in his class everyday as a medical sales rep. His is a genius and a great ma

dr browe is a hard professor, but for good reason the people who are taking this class (nursing,pre-med)need to know physiology and if you don't know it well you are risking your patients life. knowledge presented in this course is critical and you have to put the time in. he will help you, ask!
