The only objective complaint I have is that she is unclear regarding page limits in assignments. FYI - two pages does not mean a minimum of two pages, it means TWO pages. If you go over her page limits by more than about a half a page, you are counted off.

I took the class online,thought it was easy,&clear.I did not meet Cortina but from my view,the TA's do it all.You have 7 writing assignments that are based on the 2 thin course books.I heard that the students are divided into groups by last name and if your last name is in the beginning,you're stuck with Cortina.I got a TA cause of my last name.

she is aweful. she is not helpfull, available or clear in her explinations. infact she does not do anything. her ta`s do it all. the class is pretty easy though because it is all on line. i think they changed the format to this because she is such a poor excuse for an instructor!

Professor Cortina, was one of the worst professors I have ever had! She did fall asleep, and never paid attention to the class. She made us buy a book with a month left in school. I did not learn a thing in this class!

She is a terrible teacher. She sleeps in the back while her TA's, who can barely speak English teach. She says something and then changes. She made us by one book and then changed the book and then she did not even order enough for everyone to buy one.
