This teacher is horrible he hasn't handed back a paper in almost a month I emailed him and he never emailed me back and its been one month!!!!!!!!! no grades have been posted yet on angel and its already almost the end of the semester avoid him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would go so far as to say this man is the worst professor I've ever had! He misses classes with no warning, doesn't do anything to help you catch up. I'm appalled that this is allowed to go on. If anyone fails this course I recommend you fight it because this man is not doing his job!

I just had him as a professor this spring semester and he was awesome. Yes, he lectures a lot, but he does this to help you out with the essays. He helps you revise your essays as many times as you want to. He also goes paragraph by paragraph in every essay. He is an easy grader but is fair when it comes to attendance, turning essays in.

He allows you to revise papers as much as you want in theory but in practice, he only sends back the revisions maybe 2 or 3 times. Which should be more than enough for anyone. He was extremely helpful in all other areas and I thoroughly enjoyed his off-the-wall humor.

Worst online teacher. He never emails you back and is rarely online. He opens modules and leaves them empty for a month. Expect it to take him at least a month to grade your paper. When he makes comments on the papers it will mess up and erase things you write do his comments can fit and he'll knock points for it. Overall avoid taking online at all cost!

I currently have Prof Haggerty for and ENG 220 online class and he is terrible. He pays no attention to the class and we have to teach ourselves and answer our own questions. We are 2 months in and not one grade has been recorded. Papers take months to get back and his critiques make no sense. He makes it clear he could care less. Avoid him!

Thought the Banned Books would be more famous and interesting ones. He just lectures the whole time and students don't really get to join the convo.just had to do the work and you passed. He sometimes, w/o warning, didn't show up. He also had some family problems that semester so I can't really blame him for not doing well.

If I've learned one thing from his class this semester- it's to know what you're getting yourself into before you sign up for an online class. There was a 3 week period where he never updated anything for the course. A student, with his work ethic, would fail in a heartbeat. I would STRONGLY DISCOURAGE ANYONE from taking his online classes.

Class just keeps getting worse. I have him for an online class and he was MIA for over 3 weeks. Opened next module finally and is MIA again. I went to the chair of the dept about it and am sure nothing will be done. RIDICULOUS!! Will not reccommned him to anyone!!!

I took Dr. Haggerty's class for Brit Lit. He missed a total of 4 days, was late often. All he care about was giving a 50 minute speech and wanted next to no input from the students. I did all of the assignments and got an A. Another girl did nothing and pulled a C??? I would not recommend this professor to anyone.
