apparently there is no "accouting" for taste...to say that Dr. Potts is intimidating is like saying a pack of rabid pitbulls sniffing at your crotch is only mildly disturbing.. i once asked a question in class and he went out and got his car and drove it into the classroom and tried to run me over with it.. just kidding...he is a great prof...

Potts is the worst professor I've had at USM. He's hard to understand and when you ask questions he flips out, he'll answer it but makes you look and feel stupid. His tests are wicked hard and are often over material he barely covered. Bad experience!

You may have to work harder in this class but may still end up with a bad grade. After taking an old test from another teacher I got 15 points higher over the same material. His exam questions are like him, hard to understand.

In class, he will state are there any questions, now don't be bashful. Then if you ask the question, he goes berserker because you don't know it yet. So no one dares to ask for his help. Be ready to be verbally abused!
