Comment:

Reinert is the best design and costume professor I've had the pleasure of having. He has a tendency to procrastinate a little but who doesnt? Students on here who complain about his being late in returning work are the tiny portion of Kenyon that's anal about getting the best grades allll the time. This is a wonderful man and good at what he does.

Very funny. He may have changed some, having read everyone's comments, because I actually felt he tolerated slacking to an extent, at least in a superficial sense. No GENDER preference, but he did gravitate toward better-looking people. Always supplemented a critique with some sort of compliment, no matter how crappy the piece.

(Took it in '04) He is extremely specific about examples and project expectations, and he grades very objectively. The class discussions on the factors of design were well structured, and he did an excellent job of leading us toward realizations and understandings without spoon-feeding us.

If your having trouble in his class, you're not listening to what he's saying in the critiques. Consider them, and make the changes in the rest of your problems. Excellent prof. to make the jokes with- hilarious. If you're willing to work and have fun, he's the prof for you. Highly recommended!

i don't understand all this animosity towards reinert. i love this man. he's wonderfully approachable, a hell of a lot of fun, and is great at encouraging his students. if you don't like to work, you won't be pushed, but if you actually want to learn, he is a great professsor. i heart.

AAAAAH!!!! the worst artist in any form i have ever met. he can't design costumes, or sets, or even make a decent poster. but a fun prof if you wanna just joke around.
