Absolutely incredible. Do not expect someone who will not challenge your thinking or an easy class. You may be frustrated by his views and will be frustrated by the work, but will walk away from his class being stretched and having grown more than in any other class. Do NOT graduate without having taken at least 1 or 2 classes with him!!

Incredable Teacher! The best teacher I had at Moody, without his courses my time there would have been a waste of time. Genesis was very solid. Pslams was my most heart impacting class. Old Testament Biblical Theology transformed the way I think!

Great prof. just about everything that comes out of the man's mouth is profound. I found myself missing some golden comments because my futile mind was too busy trying to unwrap the brilliant comment he said at the beginning of class. Record his class if you can so that you don't miss a thing.

This guy was amazing! One of the best instructors I have ever had and probably ever will have. Take his class if you can. He is quite witty and very informed on all things Pentateuch. You have to take him to appreciate his genius. And yes, I put a chili pepper because he is a alright looking guy!
