Partial DiffEQ is very hard in general. However, Vogel gives great lectures and assigns fair amount of HW. If you know how to solve HW problems, you will do moderately fine on exams as they are very fair. I would take any class taught by him any day.

Honestly by far one of my favorite classes and teachers, I took honors calc in highschool and this class was so easy and he is such a sweet guy! Explains everything through and makes sure you know it if you show up to class. 100% would take again

Vogel is quirky, in a good way. It keeps his lectures interesting. If the class laughs at a joke, he'll use the same joke over and over again the rest of the semester. Overall a good teacher, though some content is confusing.

Professor Vogel was one of the easiest teachers I ever had. He would just go through and do problems, and would show us how they were done. Those exact problems were on the exam, with different numbers. If you do the review sheet beforehand, you should be fine. I got a 98,96 and 96 on the tests and a 93 on the final.
