He is a good prof and replies emails really quickly. He writes his own exams and the wording sometimes is quite tricky.

Wrote his own book with 2 others Mandatory to purchase so you can complete your homework(20 hours worth at most(while intoxicated to be able to deal with it)) Or you can spend 40-60+ hours writing two 5 page single spaced essays as a non paywall option to get your grade. questions on the site are also phrased poorly. 2midterms final still worth 45%

Lecture is ok to be honest, however just hate comparing different countries when talking about dates and some of his words really make me uncomfortable. I won't choose his lecture any more.

Slides are posted online but the seminars aren't. Seminars are good for the online assignment. Assignment questions are textbook questions. Midterms were as easy as the practice ones. Final is a bit difficult so attend every lecture, he hints as what he wants to test. Wong uses examples to keep the lectures engaging.

Andrew was awesome!! My favourite prof so far! He answers e-mails quickly and in EXTREMELY good detail. His lectures are great, but if for whatever reason you cant come to class - dont sweat it. He wrote the textbook we use and its phenomenal. All the tests are straight from the textbook. Blended learning was great, 10/10 reccomend Andrew!

He definitely wants students to figure out concepts for themselves which can make learning them initially quite difficult. This definitely made more work for me but by the end of the course, I actually understood how models worked instead of memorizing them. Don't let the easy first midterm fool you and study really hard for the second midterm.

He's a good prof in general, nice guy who isn't hesitant to help his students out. He held seminars to help but I found them worthless because they barely help with his midterms/final. The assignments that he gives us can just be looked up online for the answers. On the midterm, I argued a question and he refused to give it to me, when I was right.

Doctor Wong is a very caring instructor. His lectures may be dry at times when he just reads off his PowerPoints, but he is willing to help students succeed. The textbook is vital, since exam material is mostly from there. He does not post Seminar slides, so it is important that students show up for those, whenever scheduled. I recommend this prof.

Wong's a good prof in that he loves the material and wants you to love it too. His midterms are fairly easy, and final was harder but not terrible. The assignments every week are actually quite tough sometimes but not horrible. His lectures are dry at times, but he does seminars with questions he doesn't post online, so you should go to those.

I've taken both 102 and 282 with Andrew Wong and if I get the opportunity I'd gladly take another of his classes. A great lecturer, plenty of resources on eclass, fair exams and easily accessible.

Midterms were surprisingly easy, but the final seemed designed to be confusing. Took the course during the summer and despite each lecture running almost two hours he managed to keep it interesting, clear, and generally pain-free.

Mr. Wong is great at what he does. He respects his students, cares about whether or not you've learned the material, gives awesome lectures (at a good pace), and is a very fair marker. I would highly recommend him.

Andrews a really nice guy, very easy to talk to during office hours and answers emails very fast. Lectures were dry but his textbooks really well written so it wasn't necessary to show up to class, although he uses lots of real world examples to show concepts. Good choice especially if you can self study efficiently

Andrew Wong is the future. Makes a boring subject interesting. Open to questions during class, explains things really well. Accessible via email, too. He also lets pick your own exam dates. Only thing is his exams aren't necessarily as easy as his teaching would have you believe Would definitely recommend.

Only reads from his PowerPoints in class, which are all posted on eClass anyway. If you read the textbook, youll learn what you have to know for the exams. The midterms were easy and the final was a little bit more difficult. There are online connect assignments throughout the semester which are significantly more difficult than the exams.

Pretty straightforward course. His notes were solid but if you're aiming for an A you need to read the textbook. Exams were very fair and were similar to the online homework questions.

reading PPT all the time, and some of them are irrelevate. lectrue doesnt cover some stuff in test, means viewing book is needed. If you prefer self study instead of attending class, then choose it, otherwise, DONT TAKE IT!!

Dr. Wong might not be an interesting lecturer, but he makes up for it with relatively easy tests. We were allowed to schedule them for whatever time we wanted within a certain week, which was nice. The homework on Connect was much more challenging than the tests, so be prepared to put in the work there.

He need us to buy the text book that he wrote and that is expensive. His lecture is interesting, but really hard to catch important point. Attendance is not necessary, because his just read his slides directly and and the slide is exactly same with his textbook. Moreover, his test is difficult. lol.
