Woodring is hillarious, brilliant, interesting, and pretty much awesome. His class is harder than most, but his excellent lectures make it worthwhile. Grading is also harder than most, but not so hard as to require an audit. Going out of my way to take more of his classes.

very clear. knows exactly what he is looking for and will tell you straight up in class what he expects so take side notes about that. mainly just memorize the notes he gives on the overhead and take all of them down!! and you will probably get perfect scores on all quizzes and tests. I would definately take him again because he is a straight forw

Dr. Woodring is a great teacher but he often gets tied up in golf, which leaves the class with a number of diffrent substitutes. This makes it hard to keep up with the material he wants making the class harder than it really should be. Dont take this class looking for a blow off class. It ruined my GPA.

Horrible. Proud of titles like "World's Slowest Grader" and "Best Liar on Campus." Very intelligent, but "knows it." I have heard non-honors people like him. I kinda think he just took out his elitism on us "honors people." Too much busy work. Legalistic! I'm fine with a lot of teasing, but pinpointing people and trying to make fools of them= RUDE!

Great professor. Truly interested in his students. Can take a joke and makes classes funny and interesting. He is the world's slowest grader (a title he is proud of) which can get frustrating. Tests can be murder but they are not bad if you do not rely on cramming the night before.
