Professor Smith is the best chemistry professor at QU. She's smart like the rest (smarter if that), but she's also amazing at translating chemistry in a way that makes it very understandable. Group work helps a ton, and really she's just super fair and caring.

Prof Smith is the smartest woman I have ever met & is still able to explain things thoroughly. The class is difficult regardless of who you have but she always tries to keep things entertaining. I found the group work really helpful & she made herself accessible outside of class often. She is so sweet& always willing to help her students. Take her!

Prof. Smith is a solid choice for an Orgo professor. Orgo is never easy but the approach Smith takes to teaching make the class so enjoyable. There are things you can do throughout the semester to gain extra credit. I would strongly recommend taking her as you really learn the material. She also cares so much about her students.

Orgo is a hard class no matter who you have. Prof Smith uses a group approach that makes the class much easier. She is always available to help you outside of class and often offers review sessions before tests when needed. She gives you a list of topics to know before a test that is super helpful when studying. Overall a great professor!

Professor Smith is one of the best teachers at Quinnipiac. The subject matter is difficult, but Organic Chemistry is suppose to be difficult. However, Professor Smith combines lecturing and group work (using a workbook) in a way that facilitates learning and effectively reinforces the material. If you work hard you can receive an A. Must Take!

If you like group work, she's good. She makes it pretty clear what you need to know for exams. Just go in to each lecture having done the workbook problems and they will be reinforced in class. Also don't forget to do the sapling!

Professor Smith is a great choice for Orgo. The class is going to be difficult no matter which professor you take, but it is possible to get an A in Smith's class! She uses a workbook for class instead of traditional lecture, but she is very clear what she expects of you, and gives homework that mirrors her exam questions. Just don't fall behind.

Professor Smith really knows what she is talking about. Sapling Learning is homework which can be hard at times but if you email her for help she will respond and help you. If you forget to do homework she will open it back up. She is really good at explaining things. Just don't take her for granted

Professor Smith is awesome! I took her for chem 101 and loved it. She loves chem which makes her students love chem. Definitely take her. She "upwards grades" so if you do better on a second test, she will raise the grade of your first test!

She is the best organic chemistry professor at QU. As along as you do the workbook, textbook problems and sapling you will be fine. She has so many office hours and the peer fellows are God sent.

She is a very nice woman, she loves to TRY and help. She really does want you to do well and will try and help you. But she is all over the place with her workbooks and she doesn't exactly explain how to do a problem before you do it. Overall, she isn't that bad of a professor, but be ready to be confused.

Knows what she's talking about but doesn't know how to relay the material in a way that isn't confusing to the students assigns random homework assignments mastering chem is very difficult and textbook and workbook assignments are for the most part irrelevant very unorganized too harsh of a grader and expects you to teach yourself in group work

Her teaching is all over the place. She is scattered and jumps to different areas in the chapters.Always claims to be falling behind, when the class is moving at a fast pace. When she states the were behind she assigns chapters to read on your own and do the homework for that chapter anything in the chapter is fair game to her. Harsh grader avoid!

Prof Smith is a very nice and helpful lady, probably the best out of all the professors that teach Orgo. The material is DIFFICULT but if you stay on top of the homework you should be fine. OWL ASSIGNMENTS every night. She also has a STRANGE hatred for birds and always uses chemistry examples of acids that destroy bird eggs in her lectures.

She is a very nice woman, but she is not very clear in her teaching. She assumes that her students already know what she is talking about. I like her as a person, but as a teacher she falls short. The group work is the worst when the entire group doesn't understand and she tells us to ask them for help.

Professor Smith is extremely helpful and nice. She goes out of her way to make sure that her students understand the material, since organic chemistry is such a difficult course. She uses a workbook that no other professor uses, but it helps so much!
