Comment:

The sweetest man ever! However, I thought TV Studies for Non Majors would be the easiest class ever, but his grading system kind of sucks. Quizzes are very short, so if you miss 1 question you're already at a B. Exams are based on readings, but he doesn't discuss the readings in class at all, which makes it hard to know what the important info is.

Haskett is a great professor. He really will work with you, especially on group projects. His lectures are kind of interesting (his personality makes it better). His tests come from the textbook, not anything he actually lectures on. Make sure he keeps up with the gradebook, kind of unorganized. Other than that, loved him. Would take again!!

He is an AMAZING professor, genuinely nice, respectful and is there to teach and learn from you. Everyone should take a class with him at TCU. He is the greatest professor Ive ever had and truly helps students, will go out of his way to see that you do well!!! TAKE HIM!!! TCU is better cause of professors like him

I took all 3 of Professor Haskett's MALA classes. I thoroughly enjoyed them all. He's very laid back, friendly & funny, but he also knows his stuff. He may not be the the most difficult teacher on campus, but that doesn't mean you won't learn a lot if you pay attention. A good prof doesn't have to be brutal. Take any class of his you can.

Funny, great guy, very nice--but don't expect to learn anything earth-shattering in his classes. He's not quite cut out for professing any real information, as it were. The class are super easy though, so if you're looking for a simple "A", go for it. He uses Wikipedia for his class material.
