I took accounting in high school so the course came very easy to me. He was very nice. Gave review sheets which helped studying for the test. Gave a good amount of extra credit just had to do alot of work for it.

Miller is very funny and made the class entertaining! He's my favorite accounting professor I have had at Hudson Valley. He uses many examples from the textbook to help the students better understand the lecture and what he is teaching for the day.

Kind of a rude guy but he's somewhat helpful. LOTS of homework and tough tests. Two extra credits but you really have to work for them. 4 tests, a final and a group project. Need the textbook for HW. Hard class but study and do your homework every night and you'll do okay.

I actually had Professor Miller three years ago, and to this date he is still the best college professor I've had. If you're afraid that a class in Accounting will be boring, take ACT110 with Professor Miller. He keeps class interesting and makes you want to learn. Very professional and willing to help students who are willing to help themselves.

Not much to say about Mr. Miller except that he is one of the greatest professors I have ever had. While teaching one of the toughest college courses, Mr. Miller isn't a typical professor. He cares about your understanding of all material and is a funny guy in class. Takes attendance. Accounting is tough, unless you take Miller.

Took Financial Accounting with Mr. Miller my first semester at the Valley. He is still the best professor I have had in my four semesters. He helped me learn without putting me to sleep. He is also very approachable and willing to help (as long as you are willing to help yourself). If you are majoring in Accounting, TAKE HIS CLASS!!.

I have to say, at first I was a little unsure of Professor Miller. His tests always include T/F and he is rarely one to throw away questions due to clarity. However, because of him I have become a better test taker. He always keeps it interesting and is a genuinely nice guy. Highly recommended and I wish he taught Managerial Accounting! Do your HW!

Professor miller has been by far the best professor I've had at hvcc. He makes sure you get it and he keeps the class up beat and funny. You'll never fall asleep and you will learn what this man has to teach. Take his class, you will not regret it.

Mr Miller is ONE OF THE BEST! I wish I could take him for every accounting class I have. He VERY much wants everyone to do great, but you have to pay attention, do homework and read the book to understand all of the material. He goes over all homework and prep's you for tests and longterm. He also makes class fun, especially for 8am :) enjoyed !

Honestly, a really fun teacher. If you are worried about getting into a "boring" accounting class, TAKE MR. MILLER'S CLASS! Each day, we went over the homework from the night before (he never graded it), then he lectured on a topic for twenty minutes and then we usually did an exercise from the book in class. All tests (including final) were fair.

Miller is a great teacher who likes to have fun. Very clear during lectures and forces students to pay attention. He will make you really learn Accounting. You won't pass without knowing the material but he is fair. HW almost every night and he calls on people in class. Oh and NO ATTENDANCE POLICY. Great teacher, take him for sure.
