best teacher in the dept. does a good job explaining the material, though you need to know what is going on before you come to class. knows c++ all too well. If you want to learn something, take him. I only wish that he taught more classes in the dept. Be prepared to work, since his assignments are the most challenging you will have in CPSC

Great teacher. Do not take CPSC 490 before your final semester or he will hate you for life. It doesn't matter how dedicated you are (double major) nor how many extra electives you take (for fun). Professionalism is beyond his grasp. Thanks for making me graduate from UTC with a sour taste in my mouth! (But the rest of our department is great)

They tell you it is an intro class, oh how they lie. I had never taken a language before, and he did not care to take the time out to help me whatsoever. Make sure you have background before taking a class with this professor, or you will be lost.
