Since when is it okay for a teacher to give or take 10% of a grade dependent on how he feels about you? Avoid at all costs. Racist, sexist, should quit while he is ahead. Hard to follow, never-ending lectures.

This professor is a nice guy to begin with, but he is unclear in his lectures. He has trouble staying on topic. I love history, but with him I have learned nothing. Easiest paper grader ever though.

Dr. Crumley was an amazing professor. Thoroughly explains topics in a manner that is easy to comprehend. Lectures, for the most part, are interesting. Didn't ever use the textbook. Teaches based off his lecture notes. Always study for tests. Four simple Quizzes and two 5 page papers; Fair grader; Write down everything he writes down on the board.

Tough class, but undoubtedly my favorite professor at this university. Do not take him if you won't go to class or work for your grade. Sat in the front of class and worked hard, ended with a B+. Everything he says in class will be on tests.

I have an A in this class, because I'm teaching myself. He is unorganized, confrontational, and difficult to follow. He rants about random topics while lecturing, and can't see, to stay on topic. He hates the books, so don't bother buying them. Avoid him if possible.

Pretty cool professor. Knows his stuff. Very helpful. Army Vet, and funny. Would defiantly recommend him for a history professor. Don't expect surprises on tests, what he covers in class is what you'll see on tests and quizzes

Dr. Crumley genuinely cares about how his student do. He is very straight forward, if he tells you it will be on the test, it is. If he writes in on the board, study it. He has a good sense of humor and made classes enjoyable and easy to follow along.

Dr. Crumley is an outstanding professor. Very knowledgeable, able to tie history in with current events, which made the lessons all the more relevant. I'd recommend him to anyone and would take another one of his classes in a heartbeat.

I LOVED this class! Sure, he wont waste his time on you if you dont care and arent coming to class / reading textbook, but if you do show interest and are genuinely trying, Crumley does all he can to help you out. He is also HILARIOUS! I had him last semester and wish I would have waited to take 106 with him. If you take notes, you'll pass.

Dr. Crumley will try to intimadate you at first, but don't let that fool you. He's great! He is very intelligent. As long as you put in some sort of effort, you will do just fine in this class. His tests are pretty east if you take note of the bullet points. I recommend him!

I hated this class. He teaches bullet points and expects you to teach history to yourself. The tests are not very easy but he is a lenient grader on papers. He is a morning person so expect to be awake if you have a morning class with him

This class is extremely difficult for a 100 level class. The teacher does a poor job following syllabus and will ridicule a student if they do not understand something. I do very well in most classes and did learn a fair amount in this class. However, I cannot recommend this professor to anyone the overall quality of the class is very poor

This professor is terrible. He handed out no dated syllabus for the class and there is only a midterm and a final. I just took the first exam, and the information on it was not at all representative of the material. I do NOT recommend this professor.

Crumley is tough, but very good. I learned a very significant amount of information and I really enjoyed his class. If you pay attention, you will do very well. He seems gruff, but he is essentially a pushover.
