Comment:

Very knowledgeable and respected. She outlines material with packets and doesn't really assign homework -- attending her lectures and taking good notes are key. Not the most difficult class in the world, but definitely not an easy A. Thoroughly enjoyed and found her very endearing, easy to recommend.

Comment:

Busath is awesome. You just have to be able to understand the accent. She is from Boston and you can tell. I'm also pretty sure she has some kind of speech impediment to go with it. Anyway, take her class. It is actually a lot easier than the other biology at UCAS. No homework. Ever. Take it. If you know how to take good tests then you are set.

Great teacher! Very knowledgeable. If you get her off topic, she will still get in everything she was planning on, just really fast at the end of the hour. Gives out notes packets which contain about 80% of the test materials. Tests are hard. Many quizzes. She is willing to accommodate you, but do not miss her class. Hardest and favorite class.

She does teach fast, but if you listen you can almost always understand what she is saying. She does teach fast, but she grades fair. Never using a bell curve, but she will never test you on something she didn't teach you. She also has an interesting teaching style. The only thing I can say really, is don't take her class around 2 in the afternoon

She is very hard to understand concepts from it mostly goes over my head, and she doesn't really help to clarify if you ask questions. I usually go to a different biology teacher to have it explained. The book work we do usually doesn't pertain to the tests we take, and her tests aren't very clear.

Her teaching method is awesome. She delivers complicated information in a straight forward fashion which makes Biology easier to understand. Her notes are perfect, and you can tell she really enjoys the subject she's teaching. I'm definitely a Biology convert after taking her class.

She was friendly and easy to learn from. She gives notes out and teaches from a presentation so it's way easy to follow along. The way to get an A in her class is to take notes and then study your notes for the tests. She has an accent but it's not thick enough to interfere with her teaching.

She was an awesome teacher. I learned so much in this class. She really made me enjoy biology. Her presentations and demonstrations were at times hands on and very helpful! I would DEFINATELY recommend this teacher if you really want to learn, not just get an easy A.

her class was tough, but I really learned and understood the concepts. A lot of people complained about the difficulty level, but this IS college, not high school, kids. She made great notes available and spent extra time on the hard stuff. Definitly worth the tuition I am paying for my education!

Extremely challenging class for a 1010. Do-able if you put a lot of studying in for tests and have a fairly good memory. I got an A, but i worked my butt off. She's a really smart professor and knows just about everything about the subject, but expects you to learn it all too.
