Took Ross for first time over summer of 2015 - Can't say enough about how great of a teacher he is. You have to put in work but he is always around for help and knows A TON from his life experience and super easy to talk too about anything. One of the best teachers I have ever had, Would take again.

I had little idea how Linux or any operating systems work but Ross' engaging (scary) style of teaching enabled (brute-forced) me to comprehend a lot more than I thought I would (or wanted.) He has a way of keeping you on your toes that makes it fun ( or might cause you to develop a nervous tic.) Non-geeks just need lots of room for this class.

This was an enjoyable class with an interesting professor. Professor Decker has open office hours and is always willing to help. If you have an interest in learning, he will help always be there to assist.

HORRIBLE! rambles on in his online posts. Every post is a major project. with little to no guidance. He promised a study guide but then got negative feed back when he asked us to critique him. Needless to say he did not provide a study guide as we were lead to believe all semester.

I took his class last summer. I do not understand why anyone is complaining? He was very easy. I took intro to computers and figured I already knew it all, I learned so much. The only thing is he lets you set your own pace on the tests. He opens a few at a time and you have a deadline. This is college, dont expect your hand to be held!

Decker is an interesting guy. His teaching style isn't the best, but he is very knowledgeable about his area and if you need help, he's there for you. Decker releases 5-6 tests at a time, don't wait until the end of the semester to do them. Read the chapter, do the test. Don't wait til the end of the semester.

All I can say is that two classes I took with him PC Repair and Network + Was a waste of time...First of all I am Comptia A+ Certified before attending this class...and the PC repair class he teaches is useless for whats on the A+ TEST.
