Just want to add: my work ethic should've been better so it's not always the Prof's fault. Even at this level, material is just very hard. When we got to "polar coordinates" final part, I think everyone failed. He rushed through it to cover everything but did not really teach that part. Would rather have the original Prof (changed last second)

Dr. Muleshkov is hard but I've learned more in this Elementary Complex Analysis class than my peers have in there Math 432 class (The engineering version of this class). He is also a pretty cool dude and pretty accessible in his office hours.

I took this class because I needed the credit and heard he was a good professor, what I didn't know was how hot he was. He gives great lectures and knows what he's talking about while also being easy on the eyes. You'll want to go to every lecture and all his office hours just so you can look at him. You must work for him to get an A.

Dr. Muleshkov is a tough professor but he knows what he is talking about. If you want to actually learn math than take him but it requires a lot of effort to get a good grade. You must pay attention in class and take good notes because the way he does things differs from whats in the textbook.

Take him if you want to learn calculus properly. Participate often for free points, study well for each discussion quiz, memorize the formula sheet, take GOOD notes (ask for notes from other students if you need to), take his homework seriously and do it in his steps, not the book's. Dr. Muleshkov and Tan are truly brilliant.

Comment:
Prof. Muleshkov's class is extremely difficult, but you learn a lot. He teaches a lot of practical methods for solving problems, and he assigns the hardest problems possible for homework and tests. This is not a bad thing in itself. However, he is not a very reasonable person, and he'll make you feel stupid for asking questions in class.

Comment:
Dr. Muleshkov does a good job of explaining concepts and teaching simpler ways to do certain integrations. Although I do not agree with not graphing during chapter 7 but if you listen to how he explains his reasoning he makes perfect sense. If you want a great math professor take him.

Comment:
Muleshkov is not a teacher you want to take if you have other options. He does a terrible job at explaining things and makes you remember 8 pages of formulas. He brags about the amount of students that drop his class so if you dont want to retake math DO NOT take him you will regret every second that you are in his class.

Calc 3 with Muleshkov is quite the marathon. It's definitely tough and you will have to study after every lecture. Tan is brilliant and will answer any question you may have. His Calc 2 class is a cakewalk compared to this, and even Muleshkov states that the Calc 3 final is the hardest of all his classes. Just study, do the hw, and youll pass.

Dr. Muleshkov made me love math. His class is extremely difficult. Memorize his handouts, write down EVERYTHING he says, follow what he does, and you'll be golden. If you're struggling, ask Tan, and his students. Students who fail don't seek help. Not for easy A, but you will become amazing and destroy other students in calculus. 10/10

He is a terrible teacher and if you actually want to learn math DO NOT TAKE HIM!!! He is very rude and condescending when you ask questions. He skips many steps on the board makes countless mistakes, but still acts like he knows everything and gives attitude to everyone. He brags about the number of students that drop his class as a accomplishment.

He is notorious for being the toughest Calculus professor at UNLV. There is a reason to that. He is very knowledgeable and wants his students to learn. I felt his class to be easy because he explains materials well. His quizzes and tests are all based on the lecture, and tests are based on quizzes. If you are math major, take his classes!

The worst professor at UNLV if you can take anyone else do it. He is a terrible teacher who will belittle you for asking a question. He will go on rants that do not relate to math what so ever and wast time. He thinks he is the smartest person in the world when it comes to math but makes countless mistakes on the bored and acts like its no big deal

You must attend class to have any hope of passing the class. His methods are far better than anything the textbook teaches you. Probably the quirkiest, funniest, and best math teacher I've ever had. You have to pay attention and take notes on what Muleshkov teaches during lectures because he won't write them down on the board for you.

You WILL scrub out if you don't pay attention in class. You can't just skim by; either you memorize the handouts and learn and understand integration or you don't. He is for the student that is serious about his math knowledge. If you apply yourself and study, you will be able to crush any other non-Muleshkov student in integration, guaranteed.

Dr. Muleshkov's class is not easy. his classes are for a serious student who wants to learn Math, not just for getting credits and pass. It could be very difficult if you don't have good knowledge from trig and pre-calc. He is one of the toughest professor in UNLV. If you are math or engineering major, I recomend you to take his class and learn :)
