Angela is an expert in her field. Her makeup class can get really tough sometimes. It mostly depends on how talented you are at makeup, but she does a great job at explaining things and always picks the great TAs. The makeup morgue is especially hard. It can sometimes be tough to reach her at her office hours, so probably try to email beforehand.

You can tell teaching was not her life goal and that she doesn't love doing it. She is rarely available during posted office hours, does not return projects in a timely manner and her grading system is very subjective. She gives you a grade by what she feels, not based on what you earned even if the math gives you an A.

I LOVE Angela! I've had very few professors care about your understanding of the topic the way she does. She will explain the process with you as many different ways as she can and will go out of her way to help you. I recommend her to anyone who is serious about costume and makeup.

She grades kind of tough, but you'll learn a lot. On grading days, she would let us re-do something if we messed up. She always shows you what you did right and wrong.

Class seems like it should be easier than it is. Angela is very nice and tries to be helpful but her grading isn't the same for everyone and she grades some people harder than others. Counts off for little things for some people and lets others get away with murder.

I like Bacarisse, but she can be a pain. The class was easy, and very informative, but she can sometimes make little comments that semm judemental. Her attitude changes like the Nacogdoches weather.

Who ever wrote these lame comments about her being this very judgmental person is not being fair. I find Angela to be one of the best people in the entire department. If you want to learn new concepts about makeup and how to better your craft take this.

She is very judgmental and is not a nice person, I would recommend her if I did not like you. She is good at her craft, but I have seen better. If you are looking to learn knew techniques in makeup take Tomy.

If you know a lot about makeup and are good with it, you'll do well. If you don't, you probably won't. She's nice about half the time, but once again, if you're not good at makeup, she's not going to be that nice all the time.
