Ms. Brown is so funny and super sarcastic. Her sarcasm can come across as mean so if you don't like sarcastic humor don't take her. I learned so much. She is super clear. There is not a lot of work to do outside of class.

American Lit. Great class! The sass level in this woman is higher that the Empire State Building which makes the class even more enjoyable. Very clear and very very understanding of how hectic student's lives are. Would recommend to anyone, the class is more on the psychology of why Americans think the way they do. Takes time in returning HW :(

I took three classes with Brown. Her classes were easy only because she did such a phenomenal job teaching.I learned so much from her without realizing it. Taking her in undergrad has made grad school a breeze. Such a great prof!

I followed her instructions to a tea when writing papers for classes and have done very well. A class well worth taking with her. What she taught me about writing and research was invaluable for graduate school. Also, made class lively with humor.

I literally had class 8 times in my semester with her. Only one research paper is due the entire semester. She is terrible at returning assignments, it took her a month to return my research purposal and by the time I got it the final paper was due in two weeks. Easy but you will learn absolutely nothing form her.
