One if the best teachers I've ever had! I learned so much! She teaches it in a way that is understandable, she also uses power points and study guides so you know what to focus on.

Dr. Currier is an incredible teacher. However the material she wants you to learn is handed to you in great amounts and it is very difficult to learn everything. Her tests are extremely hard unless you read the entire book like 10 times a night. She does offer a lot of extra credit which is a big help.

Dr. Currier takes a difficult and intimidating-sounding class and makes it into something fun. I had absolutely zero interest in Microbiology prior to her class and am now planning on pursuing a Bachelors in the same subject. Also, I would take her for lab too, the best Micro teacher you will find.

Dr. Currier is outrageously helpful! She wants you to do well in her class & will spend extra time w/ you if you need it. VERY knowlegable & approachable. BUT if you dont seek her help out or bother to read the book then you will NOT do well. She gives a study guide but honestly I did not find it particularly helpful. Read the book youll do well

TAKE HER CLASS! Most influential professor I've had my entire college career! She is so passionate about teaching & will help you understand a very difficult subject! Study her slides like the bible & dedicate 10+hrs/week to studying. Highly recommend!

Just took my first exam-studied for 10+ hrs and got a C! She is great in lecture & really holds your attention with a lot of examples & explanations. This is just a hard subject & I will be working hard for a B in this class! Study her slides like the bible & ask lots of questions. She really cares & is very approachable! I highly recommend!

Dr. Currier was an amazing instructor for Micro lab. I wish I could have had her for lecture also. She was very helpful & always willing to answer any questions. This is a tough class, but she made it much more manageable. I highly recommend her for Micro as it is a very tough class.

Expects way too much out of her students. Mainly goes off the textbook which can be difficult because there is so much information. Study guides are useless because they are so broad. Tests are not passible unless you study the book inside and out.

Dr. Currier is a great prof for this super hard class. She knows this stuff backwards and forwards and not only helps during office hours but has even come in extra hours to help us on the math. She really cares and I have learned a ton this quarter!

This is my 3rd class with Dr. C, so I'm a little biased. Her teaching style speaks to my method of learning, though, so it's a good arrangement. Lots of extra credit. Gives all that you need to know on Powerpoints, but be sure to bring your book to class! Sad that she isn't teaching 142 next quarter.

Best Professor and I can't imagine taking Micro with anyone else, and you shouldn't either! The class is very intensive which makes it seem hard but I got an A by keeping up with the material in lab and lecture with frequent studying. She is helpful and enthusiastic about the subject. Lectures are kept interesting too. She's also great in lab!

Dr Currier should be your ONLY choice for Micro. Its the class that EVERYONE dreads, but its her favorite class to teach (she has a PhD in it!), and she explains things very well and very thoroughly. If you do the work, and make an effort, you can do well, she is by no means an easy prof, but will work with you to help you understand the material.

she is super cute! she is very sweet and felxible. her tests are very direct and you dont need to know minute little details. plus she gives you an index card! she is great for lab too! she is very well organized about how she teaches she is great! i would take her for all my bios if i could of!!
