Comment:

One of the Best Teachers at TJC, he will make math fun and interesting for you which is not easy at all. I am not someone who is very good at math but he helped me out when needed, like he was available outside of class to answer questions and go over problems you have trouble with. He also would ask at beginning of class if you had any questions.

Mr. Tefteller is gold! I was struggling in his class and went to his office for help, two hours later I left and understood everything completely. I recommend him for future class, however you have to work hard for him!

Comment:

The material on each test was covered thoroughly and plenty of time was allowed for study. Mr. Tefteller was respectful and ready to help when I had questions, though it was difficult to contact him at times. A solid choice for anyone looking for a straightforward approach to Algebra. Disclaimer: I took his class three years ago.

I am not very good at math but he was extremely helpful. Prepared to be called on in class, everyone participates at some point. I felt like I received the grade that I worked for, which felt better than making an A and not learning. Very knowledgeable and will back up some if you are confused about how to solve a problem. Recommend but work hard!

Mr. Tefteller was very knowledgeable about his subject. However, his class was incredibly boring and hard to grasp. If you are bad at math like I am you will not enjoy his class. You can miss one thing he says and be lost for the rest of the semester. I recommend sitting at the front of the class and asking tons of questions.

I have never been good in Maths and was terrified to have to take algebra... Mr Tefteller is the best teacher you can have if Maths is not your thing. He will explain things to you in a very simple way as many times as needed. If you do your homework online as it comes and work hard on your test review you will pass the class! Would take him again!

He is GREAT! I HATE math with a burning passion but I needed Algebra for my major. I took the summer class. We had 3 tests and a final. The tests are a combo of multiple choice and short answer(where you get credit for showing work). Homeworks were online but we had unlimited opportunity to make 100. Final is all multiple choice and actually easy!

He doesn't go over things too fast, will always help if you have a question, and gives plenty of example problems. The homework is online, but you can watch how the problems are done and get five tries per problem. He gives you a study guide for tests and the test problems are exactly what's on the homework. Lectures aren't boring either.

Best math teacher I've had. Everything I didn't understand before he made it clear. He always asks if you have questions and if you do he will gladly answer. His lectures are always important to pay attention to and everyday he moves on to the next lesson so show up ! Ask questions and you will pass.

Advice for this teacher is to do the homework and ask questions on anything you don't understand. It is a little hard and I did not do as well as I wanted but this teacher is fair. Whatever work you put in is whatever you will get out. All in all is ok and a well intentioned teacher and that's all you can ask for in a teacher.

My class had homework out of the book due almost every class. They were exactly like examples from the book, and the test questions were written in the same fashion as the homework. He even gives you a formula sheet to use on each tests. Learn how to use the formulas, and you'll do well.

One of my fav math teachers and I hate math. He is extremely helpful but you have to ask for it. Do the practice homework and homework assignments and you'll pass the tests. He's seriously one of my fav professors at TJC.

Awesome professor! Had to drop last semester due to another professor going to fast. Make sure you go to class everyday because there is a lot of info. But he explains everything very well and goes at a pace where you can keep up! He takes time to review and answer questions. Highly recommend him. I would not have passed with an A if not for him.

Stats was easy bc he gave about 6 pages of equations as a reference for every exam. You don't have to memorize anything. But he doesn't answer questions very well. He usually just rephrases the question and calls it an answer.

Good teacher. Always willing to help, answers any questions you have. The tests are just like what he talks about in class. Practice some of the homework before the tests and youll pass. Make sure and go to class, cause its alot of info, but its not hard. Good teacher. Likes what he does.
