Angela is the sweetest professor I've ever had! Her assignments are easy to follow, and if you have any questions, she'll take the time to go over it with you. She's funny and the lectures are discussion based, so get ready to talk about stories & opinions!

While she is a great teacher and makes concepts clear and easy to understand, her clarity with research papers and assignments could be clearer. It is hard to figure out if she truly listens to students when they present their proposals or ideas, as she often expresses concerns over things students had stated when presenting their assignments.

Definitely a recommended professor- her class requires you to use the gray matter more than many other LIT classes and from what I've seen is only tedious to those who are just taking the class as a placeholder- you should only be here if you WANT to learn. A+ teacher; well-read, intelligent, professional, EXTREMELY helpful. (And really pretty :D)

Very sweet teacher and always available for help outside of class. Very fun class environment. Lots of group work. BUT, grading standards are high and precise, and lots of handouts and loads of homework and readings to do.

was not easy, treated the class like a high school class (tardiness and absence counted, more than 2 absences results in a 10% lowering of your final grade in the class) homework almost every class session. had to work my ass off to get my grade.

This is a writing intensive class,(someone said it was honors?) it is very good for students who will minor in English or plan to teach. There is a lot to read, a lot or writing, a 40 minute presentation. It isnt an easy class, but she is the most honest, caring, motivating, engaging teacher you could ever want. I fulfilled my com 3400 class, also.

Angela is a great and passionate teacher. She knows and conveys her literature well. There was a major focus on poetry, Shakespeare's MSD, and other interesting topics. Since her class, I have added English as a minor and feel her class was one of the few I looked forward to attending. Definate A+!
